I absolutely love the music we have received from both the Gallaghers' new releases so far and my avatar is of my favourite team who are for once exciting and good. Positive vibes all around. GOOD TIMES. LET'S GOOOOO. Go leafs Go!!! We are going to be a powerhouse for years to come. Just named my cat Marner. Lol. Great times indeed. 5-4 leafs over Blackhawks tonight. I love Holy Mountain. I wonder if Liam sang it, if all the Liam fanboys would love it? I'd imagine they would. Hahahaha Ya huge game tonight, it might even be a 10-9 game. Honestly, my guess is if Liam sang it, the reactions on here would be similar, probably even more wild. But we may not know until 22 years from now when Liam surprisingly belts it out Capella on stage.

You gotta be stoned if you think this is better than everything from Liam's album there are some decent tracks on Liam's album, but I think this track by Noel (which blew me away) edges it over just about all the songs on AYW.

Lots going on in this song. I like it. Edit could be a bit cleaner, but the opening vocal to the initial "She Fell" chorus is solid. Old 50's style Eddie Cochran type of vocal. The wooooo-ooooh-ooohs are great. I'm interested to see how he interprets this live. I listened to it 4x in a row, so that says something.
I get the comparison to She Bangs, but the argument its being used to forward is disingenuous. Its fine not to like the song, but ffs get off this ride.
In terms of a lead single, whatever. I prefer it to NANANANANANANA (although the non-nana fan edit version is awesome). It makes me want to hear the rest of the album no doubts.

Plodding things with no melody and horrible lyrics/vocals.

I love it. No shame. It's not Live Forever - it's a fun throwaway track

I love Noel but this is shit I've just put down my massive habanos cigar....had another listen. Yup! It's still the best first single released off a new album since Some Might Say. This song belongs firmly in the Oasis Mk1 era, and sits happily alongside IHITIK, The Fame, Stay Young, Round Are Way, etc. It could very easily have been a track from BHN. Of course, if you prefer the shite from Oasis Mk2 and Beady Eye, then I can understand why you don't like this...

put down whatever your smoking ... that song isn't even Bside material on As You Were ... I love Noel but this is shit not b-side material on an album full of b-sides? well, yeah... I think this new one from Noel is better than anything on AYW. I don’t have any allegiances for one Gallagher over the other, truly don’t care about that. I prefer this because it’s different, love the production, whereas AYW is a decent album, but nothing special. The only negative people on here have Liam avatars. I have a Noel one but I give AYW some credit, there’s a few decent songs but general consensus is around 6/10. Just can’t get away from fact Liam didn’t write any of the good songs off AYW but that’s just a sticking point for me.
