Had it all day on repeat. Played it to my girlfriend at home. She has no affection with Oasis/Gallaghers. She literally started to dance on it and said i could play it more often.
Heard it on Dutch radio and put the volume up...DJ said she's in love with it and is being well received by listeners.

I will say the art work is great for the album and single...

Both artworks are great - Liam's reminds me of Bowie and Noel's just outstanding. At least we don't have to see his 'bored' face lol.

Listened couple of times last night and this morning... Had tune in my head all day! What an absolute joy, foot-stomping song!! Cannot wait to hear this live!!
If you don't like this quite frankly you are mental.
Some people even used word "hate"....really!? "Hate" a 4 min song?? Bizarre!!

I will say the art work is great for the album and single... So far everything has been faultless. Album artwork reminiscent of early Brain Canon Oasis, and now an upbeat single which sounds like it could have been mixed by Owen Morris. I couldn't be any happier!

Great to see such positive reaction from the fans on here. Bring on the next song, hopefully won’t have long to wait.

put down whatever your smoking ... that song isn't even Bside material on As You Were ... I love Noel but this is shit I've just put down my massive habanos cigar....had another listen. Yup! It's still the best first single released off a new album since Some Might Say. This song belongs firmly in the Oasis Mk1 era, and sits happily alongside IHITIK, The Fame, Stay Young, Round Are Way, etc. It could very easily have been a track from BHN. Of course, if you prefer the shite from Oasis Mk2 and Beady Eye, then I can understand why you don't like this... Curious, what does MK stand for? I understand the separation of eras, but wondering what the acronym is.

Bit dissapointed. I've never had the urge to dance to anything, music doesn't hit me in that way. I sing along and like melodies that stick in your head. It's kind of blunt and airy sounding like the Vaccines, not what I was expecting at all. Thought my speakers were fucking up because of how i could barely make out any individual instruments. It's good. I just expect greatness from Noel, the other clips sounded so vibrant and psychedelic, hopefully this is just the albums Bring The Light and the real stuff is yet to come. I've heard like a minute of She Taught Me To Fly and it just won't leave my head, can't fucking wait for that one! Then again I love Heat of The Moment and Lock All The Doors which everyone on here seems to hate so it's probably just because of my personal taste. This seems to be a way more common point of view on here than I could have imagined - for me, dancing is like...the point. It's one of the primal ways music can affect you, just setting rhythms that your body will naturally want to follow physically. When you make me dance with vibrant music that also inflames my imagination (this one makes me think of a smoky dance carnival at night, with all flames and flutes 'n' shit ) then you're onto a winner for me. In a weird way, Idioteque is the same thing, just the mirror image. See I adore Idiotique, but more for the feeling it conveys, the haunting melody, the punch of the drums, the rawness and emotion of the vocals, the way it makes you feel like we're 4 minutes away from the end of the world etc. I like letting the feeling of the song wash over me and make me feel insignificant and vulnerable, particularly if I'm in a bad mood. Never felt the need to move to it though, but I guess that's just me I can't call the song bad, it's perhaps just not really for me. Music affects people in different ways. I actually like it, I like the energy and uplifting feeling of the song, it sounds much better after a few listens, it's like God Bless This Acid House covered by the Vaccines. I'm just disappointed that it's not the weird, vibrant, psychedelic rock song i was expecting after the clips from the album. Production is muddy though, even after turning my sound equalization off.

Based on some of the comments on here, it looks like I'm obviously Holy Mountain's biggest fan on the forum. Still a 10/10 for me! I've had this on infinite repeat all morning. It keeps getting better with every listen. Heaven knows how I'm gonna focus on anything else today!! Ricky Martin wishes he wrote this. I love it. Best thing he's done in a while.

To me it's not Noel and don't get it. It's not something I wanna hear when I hear a Noel or Oasis record and the other songs I heard previews for are also pretty bad. I know I'll be attacked for this but I'm just disappointed coming from one of my fav song writers of all time. From the YouTube and a lot of other comments I'm not alone in thinking is bad. Idk I'll still get the album but it's just prob not what I was hopping for. I never in a million years thought I'd like a Liam record over Noel :/

I feel that with this album I'm going to do things in a different way. Instead of listening to everything that comes out(I expect one or two more singles) I will only listen to the next single if its something from the trailer. I mean,if the next single is Fort Knox,IABW or She Taught Me To Fly I will definitely listen to it. But if its not,i'll wait til the albums out. With As You Were I feel that I listened 70% of the album before it came out, with the live performances,Bold leaked and 4 singles I wasn't that surprised when I got to hear the album. I don't get Holy Mountain at all,but I still got high expectations with the record and is almost a month away,so I better wait I better hide

I like this song a lot. But I have a Liam-avatar. What should I do now? I'm confused. you better change it bc you will be beat up for it. It's weird how people get with this stuff.

I actually really dislike the song. Sounds like a cross between Ricky Martin and a childrens TV show.

And you've heard just one song - I didn't like WoG at first too. Maybe the other songs will appeal to you more.

are we listening to the same song? it goes nowhere musically nor vocally. it's a one-note mess of a nissan commercial front to back. it triggers zero emotion other than the annoyance of a ricky martin song that i never want to hear again.
wall of glass > > > in the heat of the moment > > > holy mountain
everybody's on the run is a million times better than this "song"
