I just cancelled my pre-order. I tried again to like it this morning but no, just no. If the next singles are good, i will be happy to pre-order again but right now, complete disappointment. Another artist who sold out to the mainstream sound that´s easy to make. Doing the same thing when you really want to do something different would be selling out. Very easy and safe for Noel to make another Chasing Yesterday

Wall of Glass is such a better tune isn't it? and 1st single material. Wall Of Glass is arguably a better song, the big difference is it's also arguably the best song on his album where as Holy Mountain definitely won't be the best off Noel's. Liam needed to return with his strongest card, Noel needs to return with a catchy, upbeat tune to spread the word. it's basically useless to compare them.

Is everyone on crack? This song sucks so much. I want my Oasis back. I want Noel's beautiful hearbreaking acoustic soogs, not him trying to be a fucking glam rock dad rock 1950's beachboy ffs Still believe there'll be something great in this album...just not this This song is bringing my Oasis back. The loud, poppy Oasis of the BHN era, and not the dull crap Noel was writing in the noughties.

In a weird way I'm glad he's doing this so he can finally get it out of his system. The thing is when I listen to artists like Noel I don't expect to dance. You can experiment all you want but there's good pop and there 's crappy mainstream shitty pop. this sounds like the latter and that's why I can't get on board on this one. I'd rather have the dadrock confort zone songs over this

The Horns sections also sound very close to Pulp - Cocaine Socialism (which is inspired from Suffragette City).

Noel new stuff will divide people, think those who’ve moved on and want something new will enjoy, maybe those who clamour for Oasis days won’t be keen.

It's really funny that I only come on these boards from time to time and yet somehow it's always the same people bitching about the same things... boggles me giblets Spot on. I find it amazing people take time out of their lives to come on here to just be negative. A lot of people on here pick between Liam/Noel for some bizarre reason, and that’s their narrative. Sad. I think it's great for people to express their opinion/s based on whether or not the track appeals to them or not. People are taking time out of their lives to do the above so of course there will be negativity. Its good to see people so torn over it...makes for good discussion.

Why do people keep calling this sound "mainstream" ? This sound hasn't been mainstream for like 50+ years. Mainstream is what Coldplay did on their last full length album. That's the state of rock at the moment. Noel is doing something entirely different than that.

I have no idea who Ricky Martin is (I'm not kidding), but some people like it and others don't. My shocking level was higher when I heard Bring The Light for the first time, but I liked the live version.
I have all respect to the people who don't like/hate this song. Nobody has to like somthing you don't like just because others like. All opinion matters as long as nobody insult others.
At this moment I'm enjoyning Liam's album and Noel's new single.
