Actually, the flute gives me the feeling of the keyboard in Can's Vitamin C.

On Twitter there are an unusually high amount of posts in Spanish talking about this song. The Ricky Martin fan base perhaps? Link? twitter.com

What we need now is Noel doing a cover of Livin' la Vida Loca. Right Manualex? La copa de la vida(or whatever is the name of the English song) that was a great horn song(also the track of the 1998 world Cup iirc)

I like it; look forward to a full, quality file. Quite funny to read the bemused reactions of some...

I want to like it because it's Gallagher music but I don't like it at all. 3/10.

I'll have a bit of that. Noelio seems to be having fun again.

this is the biggest pile of CRAP i've ever heard. Honestly it's worse than generic pop music i hear on the radio. It's just fucking empty crap.
Noel is totally finished. He's lost the plot totally. All you fanboys can defend him all you want but there's too much good music in the world for me to defend this nonsense. This is on par with Richard Ashcroft recording that ultra shit United Nations of Sound album.
i've been into Oasis since 94 and have seen them dozens of times over the years. I can't get behind this at all.
Am so thankful we have an amazing Liam album to listen to because i need to erase this infection from my ears.

“C’mon, C’mon, let’s work together.” Same old promises, same old disappointment. Same old weary Xmas tree, different tinsel. No wonder he got all those pre-orders and ticket sales in before allowing any of this to be heard. Does he even care anymore? Strangest reinvention since we lost Frank Maloney and Kelly Maloney entered the world. This is FUCKING SHITE. That's pretty harsh. It’s so fucking bad it’s comedic. It wouldn’t even be harsh if I was to say it sounds like Mike Myers covering Jean Knight’s Mr Big Stuff - which it does.

In a world where Kasabian and the Good Rebel exists, I'm starting wonder about people's definitions of bad.

Honestly I’m at work. Haven’t been able to listen. Saw the thread jump like 11 pages in a hour. Figured something big happened. I hope that link survives for a few more hours so I can listen when I get home. Fear not, you can always listen to Ricky Martin's She Bangs....

Joyous. Fun. Magnificent.
Seriously though, this is perfect for me. Noel best song? of course not, but it is fucking good. I don't think it's that big of a departure at all? It has a catchy as hell chorus, easy verses, lots of instrumentation. I think this has "first single" written all over it. Easy to listen to, catchy, fun, up-tempo, and probably not representative of the album at all. Actually very commercial.
I'm not sure though if what we're hearing is a high quality rip?? The mix sounds a little low....

Am I also getting a bit of a Ramones vibe or am I nuts? Yep, reminded me of Rock N Roll Radio immediately, except I really like that song. The horns, the woo-woo's, the weird organ/keyboard sounds under the verse that sound like the whistles...

Sounds exactly like it does on iTunes, so I think it's just the production and not the rip quality.

Dear Noel, your new song is ok, I like that you're having some fun. But please refrain from creating something like this in the future. God bless. Channeling your inner Let It🩸, to absolute perfection. Speaking of the tart, I wonder what he thinks of Holy Mountain?

I guess we are all entitled to our opinions. no if facking doesn't. Even Beady Eye dropping their guitars off the truck by accident would sound more artful and interesting than this pile of mediocre, lazy, drivel. This is just a nonsense, superficial, empty tune played by someone washed up. Beady Eye had 2 great albums....arguably more interesting than the 2 Noel albums but that could be debated. This single though.......even the worst Beady Eye outtake would sound like a fucking classic next to this. I am cringing at the thought of "Holy Mountain" even......have listened 3 times to see if i'm missing something but every time it sounds even worse than i imagined.

Maybe it's because I'm listening through studio monitors, but I don't notice any quality issue.

It was mentioned pages ago but I just want to add my two cents: Bring The Light: still utter gash, vomiting stuff The Beat Goes On: Majestic, could have been a total Oasis classic. Love it more ever year that passes. Carry on everyone

Pros: -Catchy as hell -Lots of pieces. but they do work well together, each with their own catchy melody -Very energetic, makes me stomp and bob my head as I listen -Fun and joyous as hell -Different
Cons: -Not sure if it plods, but I'll admit for how short the song is, it still feels too long. At 2:30 and beyond I'm kinda like "Is this still going on?" It's a bit too repetitive. -Doesn't change up quite enough, its basically the same all the way through -It's fine, it's just not epic or anything. Doesn't need to be, but it so far does not stand out as a favourite in the Noel catalogue, not close really.

I disliked Liam's Chinatown upon release, but now actually really like it.
First impressions can always change. At least that's what I'm telling myself for Holy Mountain.

I am absolutely astonished by some of the negative comments on here. Is it really that bad to y'all? Imagine the reception if Noel released Kid A.
