Willing to give it a chance but if Coldplay came out with this some of you lot would absolutely hammer them. To be honest, Coldplay are more likely to release plodding dross like FWIW. Ding ding!!  |

IMO - awful. Reminds me of 1950s music which I intensely dislike, just a pumped up dance version of it. Sounds like something one of those bad tv programs that feature comedy skits, guest performers and more would play as they go to commercial to keep the audience pumped.

Noel had almost created an entirely new sound for himself. There's an inventiveness here I've been wanting from Noel for ages. You know it's there just based on his record collection. He's just fucking lazy, and it sounds like Holmes pushed him and this is what we get. I love this. |

It´s not like i don´t like it but it needed a stronger chorus and it does not have it and it´s also a bit repetitive and i don´t think Noel´s voice fits this type of songs. It might be a grower, but right now, i´m not very impressed.

One more listen and i´m sorry but this is just too repetitive. I get the groove is catchy but it drags on and on, which is odd for a Noel song. Expected something better because the teaser actually pumped me up but it´s early days and i´m sure there are better tunes ahead. But meh, sounds like something Coldplay turned mainstream would release and that´s not exactly a good thing.
You have done way better in your solo career before NG, hope the next tracks are the usual quality out of you.

So far, two very different sounds from Liam and Noel(Though Liam doing It Doesn't Have to Be That Way was a very nice change from his norm). But its amazing, two different sounding albums, pretty much at the same time from both Gallaghers. This is a great time. I'm buzzing at all the new material we are getting in a short span of time. |
