I know this is gonna provoke some passionate responses, but this is far better to my ears than anything on As You Were. Noel's really thrown down the gauntlet with this album. Liam, will you accept the challenge? It all depends in the end what you like. So far, two very different sounds from Liam and Noel(Though Liam doing It Doesn't Have to Be That Way was a very nice change from his norm). But its amazing, two different albums, pretty much at the same time from both Gallaghers. This is a great time. I'm buzzing at all the new material we are getting in a short span of time. Agreed, it's fantastic that we are lucky enough to have two albums in two months. I love As You Were, but it looks like Who Built the Moon will be the record that I'll be playing more in the years to come. As good as As You Were is, it's more of the same (albeit a LOT better than before). I really hope Liam rises to the occasion and does something different for his next album. Doesn't Have to Be That Way was a nice start but I'd love to see something that's fully-fledged experimental from him.

I like it, sounds like Noel actually trying to have fun. Still far from being one of my favorites though.

Love it. Wasn't sure from the clip but I agree that the joy is contagious. This is will get blasted going down the highway for sure.
EDIT: And just like IHOTM's nanana's I love the Woohoos.

Imagine if we got this instead of Go Let It Out in 2000. Oasis would still be relevant today.

This song makes me want to burn my copies of HFB and Chasing Yesterday. If the rest of Who Built the Moon is this good, then I won't be needing those two ever again!

Doesn't Have to Be That Way was a nice start but I'd love to see something that's fully-fledged experimental from him. I'm really curious if guys like Kurstin etc came to him with It Doesn't Have to be That Way and told him to give it a try, might as well. I think I understand why Liam had to go the safe route. 1. Its what he knows and what he likes. 2. After BE, I think he wanted to re-establish himself and being safe I feel helped that. It will be very interesting to see if once everything clears up from the release and the tour, if Kurstin will come to him and suggest being less safe and start experimenting. I would love it if somehow it can be made known to Liam that It Doesn't Have to be That Way was for the most part, well received by the fans. Going forward, not every song needs to be in that ilk, but something to change it up. Not that I'd complain if he didn't, cause I love As You Were and would welcome another one. But I am curious to see what he can be capable of if he goes "weird." Problem is, his me vs. Noel persona would probably keep him staying safe since Noel is the one getting "weird" and as he recently said, "I never wanna be like youuuuUUUUuuu".

Hate to say it but this is the worst single Noel has ever been apart of ... i feel that same feelibg when i heard beady eyes first single ...instant flop .... I have a feeling Noel might have a major slide like beady eye after this album .. nothing I heard sounds like anything commercial ...

Noel had a song on one of his spotify playlists from sometime this year that has a song that has a really similar vibe and sound: Dig both. Just wondering if this is a pinball situation... After listening to both Holy Mountain and this (James Clarke Five - Sexbombe Über Alles) I'm going to double down on this one. His voicing is similar and there's even a flute! There had better be a story involving Morrissey.

I don't think this song drags on at all. In fact, it's ridiculously concise coming from the same man who released Be Here Now, for heaven's sake! Especially in the context of the album.

One more listen and i´m sorry but this is just too repetitive. I get the groove is catchy but it drags on and on, which is odd for a Noel song. Expected something better because the teaser actually pumped me up but it´s early days and i´m sure there are better tunes ahead. But meh, sounds like something Coldplay turned mainstream would release and that´s not exactly a good thing. You have done way better in your solo career before NG, hope the next tracks are the usual quality out of you. Hey guys, here's a preview of the only 3 good songs on my new album. Cheers!

It sounds quite lolly poppy. It could be a Gaga song. Don't get me wrong. I like this.

Really surprised there isn’t universal praise for this, it’s so good.

Really surprised there isn’t universal praise for this, it’s so good. Good... really??? Vocals are so low I can barely hear it.. melody is drowned by to much going on and it's hardly listenable... I love Noel but man this isnt noel

Alright, alright. I like it. But at this point, I think it's probably, definitely, maybe the weakest lead single I've ever heard from Noel. It may be the weakest single of his solo career.
I highly doubt this gets any reasonable airplay.
And I doubt that it will reach any new fans.
I'd love to be wrong.

Imagine if we got this instead of Go Let It Out in 2000. Oasis would still be relevant today. Of all the songs... you had to choose Go Let it Out? It's actually good enough to be on the Best of. HM sure would be a nice addition to SOTSOG.

I love Noel but man this isnt noel I'm sorry but... what on earth? Vocals are perfectly placed at the center of the mix (which is very good, tbh – you can hear everything clearly, there's a lot happening at times but it's not messy at all)!

It's what Jerry Lee Lewis would sound like if he recorded Ricky Martin's She bangs! Not having it.

I did like most of the ones in the preview, but this one meh. I been wanting a style change from NG but if i knew it would start like this i would have thought twice. It's hard to believe this came from the same man that once tried to radically change Oasis style and released stuff like Gas Panic! when he did it. It's not bad but it might be one of the weakest Noel singles i have ever heard.
