Thought Gem is a bit wasted too as he barely plays on some songs. He's absolutely incredible though. He'd perfect in liam's band, great guitarist Uh... not really... Liam's band is pretty wank. Also, adding Gem would give it a Beady Eye vibe that Liam certainly doesn't need right now.

Decent gig tonight - enjoyed it. Highlights were TIOBI and LBL. Bad points - too much backing singing overpowering Noel at times. Yeah, great gig! Had a brilliant night. Set list flowed beautifully. Although backing brings a lot to the performance, at times I thought “go away I jus’ wanna hear the man.” I think Noel seems to have made a decision to get them even more involved. I think he's really treating it like a proper band now - probably because he finally is happy with the line up. Unlike Liam who is undoubtedly the man, I think Noel is now just the leader of the band that are playing his songs again, so he's probably willing to mix it up a bit. Looking forward to Dublin and seeing how it works.

Well not for me because the songs on the tour last year really worked well with Ysee, Charlotte and Jess. Maybe it's overkill now, I dunno. I'll have to wait and see. But from what I've seen they can add a different twist to the songs.

It's probably been missed, but Noel was on TalkSport in the UK this morning.
He said he's due to finish this year's touring in Australia in November. Then he's planning to have a bit of time off (touring).
So guess that would mean no album cycle until late 2020 at the earliest.

He's toured every year from 15-19, which is way out of character (though it's been a great time to be a fan). A year off, a new album in late '20 and another trip round the world in 2021.

Completely understand Noel doing these gigs - no offense. Also some fans from OZ would probably liked some solo gigs. But allow me to correct this: He enjoys the touring lifestyle of U2 too much

Everybody's On The Run has been brought back in Japan. No Rattling Rose. Heat Of The Moment brought back in. Seems a weird place in the set to have it, tbf, as for me it should be pretty much switching with STMHTF. Be interesting to see how EOTN works so far down the set too. www.setlist.fm/setlist/noel-gallaghers-high-flying-birds/2019/makuhari-messe-chiba-japan-5b903b18.html1. Fort Knox 2. Holy Mountain 3. Keep On Reaching 4. It's A BeautifulWorld 5. She Taught Me How To Fly 6. Black Star Dancing 7. Talk Tonight 8. The Importance Of Being Idle 9. Little By Little 10. Dead In The Water 11. Everybody's On The Run 12. Lock All The Doors 13. If I Had A Gun... 14. In The Heat Of The Moment 15. The Masterplan 16. Wonderwall 17. Stop Crying Your Heart Out 18. AKA... What A Life! 19. Half The World Away 20. Don't Look Back In Anger 21. All You Need Is Love

Whatever you think of the music, the band are incredible. Noel's on top form in terms of his performances and becoming a frontman. No, he'll never be rock n roll or punk in the way Liam is now, but he has every right to be considered a front man. It'd be chuffing weird seeing him stand stage left again, let's put it that way. Proper cba with any reunion chat anyway. Oasis has been and gone. They were - are, still - great. Those songs won't go anywhere and will be forever in people's hearts and minds and soul. But leave it be. We've got both of them right at the top of their game atm - and that's the first time that's happened in over a decade (at least, more for some people). Let's enjoy it. I'd say at least eight more new songs (assuming 3 songs per EP, but there could be more) to come this year from Noel. A new album from Liam almost certainly in the autumn time (which would probably mean a single in June/July). As It Was coming soon too. It's a brilliant time to be a fan.

Noel is really trying hard to include them more in the setlist... On another note, is he using more female vocals live now? I thought I saw a picture of three back singers by Noel's left. I wondered how much backing vocal does he need haha. Anyway, could be a good opportunity to bring songs like Champagne Supernova, All Around The World or Roll It Over for some epic Nah Nah Nahs and Ahhhhs, respectively.

If other people want it that's fine. But given how well both Liam and Noel are doing atm in their own worlds, I don't understand where the idea that they would soon be reunited came from.
