Would hope to see something like this for the summer
1. Fort Knox 2. Holy Mountain 3. It’s A Beautiful World 4. In The Heat Of The Moment 5. Riverman 6. If I Had A Gun… 7. Dream On 8. Little By Little 9. The Importance Of Being Idle 10. Dead In The Water 11. The Right Stuff 12. Black & White Sunshine 13. She Taught Me How To Fly 14. Half The World Away (yeh, I'd like something else, but NG will keep this in for the festivals) 15. Wonderwall (see above) 16. The Man Who Built The Moon 17. AKA… What A Life!
18. Falling Down 19. Go Let It Out 20. Don’t Look Back In Anger 21. All You Need Is Love
The set will likely be a bit shorter though, in which case probably drop All You Need Is Love and/or Dead In The Water

I'm on holiday in the UK and going to the Leeds concert tonight. Does anybody know if Noel is signing stuff before the concerts in the UK? Cheers He'll be outside the arena around 4ish usually I think. But I'd say take advantage of the nice weather and get yourself to a good bar! The great thing about Leeds is that everything is within 5/10 minutes walking distance in the centre. Get yourself to Belgrave Music Hall or Headrow House for rooftop terraces this afternoon, and then it's just a short walk to the arena for the signing and you can always pop back to the streets around it for a drink before going in. Thank you very much, man! I'm already at Belgrave Music Hall. It's really cool. Does anybody else who will be attending the gig want to warm up here before??

Weirdly enough, I've decided to get a ticket (buying off someone outside the arena so I'm meeting them there). I'm planning to get into Leeds around 6-6.30. I'm meeting this guy at the arena between 7.30 and 8. Happy to come and have a drink at Belgrave around 6.45 if you're still there

I got my album signed by Noel and have just entered the arena. Maybe after the concert will go back to Belgrave Music Hall. If you go back, let me know!

I’m so mad at myself now, I wish I had gone to his gig in Milan but it sold out in few hours.

Anyone know a good image host and I’ll upload some pics.

Quick thoughts from Leeds.
I was pretty much completely sober this time, and on my own - the first time i've ever decided to spontaneously go to a gig.
Was standing, around 15 yards from the stage, just to the right of centre.
Unfortunately, the crowd weren't into it as nearly as much as Manchester. Holy Mountain got a decent reception from those around me but the other three songs off WBTM did fall a bit flat compared to Manchester, where it just went off. The band sounded superb though and Leeds arena is a far better venue in terms of the noise and acoustics.
Every little detail was picked up and amplified whereas in Manchester it all gets lost in the fuzz. On IABW this was really noticeable and Be Careful What You Wish For was improved by this as well.
The crowd were so so. Dream On got a great reception, as did Ballad Of The Mighty I, If I Had A Gun and In The Heat Of The Moment. Riverman was sublime, especially with the improved acoustics, but again the crowd weren't into it unfortunately.
Little By Little/IOBI - great as ever. And If Love Is The Law sounded brilliant. The crowd actually were into that one it seemed.
Dead In The Water was typically big and STMHTF is possibly the catchiest song Noel's written post 2000. I'd rather watch fit birds dance than a load of bald geezers sing their hearts out so it's a winner for me.
HTWA and WW - ultimately he can't take those out of the set. They're too big. What A Life is great.
Right Stuff seemed to drag on a bit purely again because the crowd around me weren't into it - but I can understand the more casual fan wouldn't be. Plus, I had dropped enough MD on Friday to happily listen to that song on repeat for hours haha.
Go Let It Out. This time the crowd just didn't carry it like they did in Manchester. DLBIA magical and All You Need... was superb once again.
So, overall, a really excellent gig from the band and the venue definitely upped the performance in terms of the clarity of the instrumentation.
It's a shame the atmosphere didn't match Manchester on Friday, but I wouldn't blame the band or the fans. The standing section certainly got going as it always does, but I suppose for a lot of people it's the end of a long, hot weekend and they've got work tomorrow - these things happen.

Does anyone know what the stage times are for Watford 14/05? I've moved this post of yours to this thread as it was posted in Liam's tour thread. Usually support act at 8 and Noel comes on stage at 9 PM.

Leeds review / thoughts: Thought Noel seemed a (more) grumpy sod at first but actually ended up being more chatty than in Manchester. As my mate said though, not many artists go nearly a third of the way through their setlist before talking to the crowd or even acknowledging them. It was my second time seeing him on this tour. I went with two mates, neither have seen him this tour yet. One is big fan like me who likes the album, the other a more casual fan who doesn't like the new album. We were all unanimous that this setlist just doesn't work. It was the first tour since Oasis where I've been really intrigued to see how certain songs sound live but a few just don't work. The first four of the new album leave the crowd completely flat. The WHOLE seating section (we were standing so could see it all) weren't standing at all other than about a dozen people until the oasis section. I don't mean to compare but I was in seating for the Liam gig there and were stood the whole gig - as was everybody. Be Careful what you wish for and right stuff need to be dropped in a big way. For all you need is love - better reaction than Manchester. I'm not a fan though. At least no balloons this time though. There was a block of empty seats in the top tier last night. I could see Noel looking up there quite a bit. Unfortunately unless he changes things around I think he may start seeing more of these around the country. At least venues close(ish) to other venues he's playing. If he keeps this setlist at festivals - where the percentage of casual fans will be far greater - he won't go down anywhere near as well as he should do. On another note, his theme of the night was to call the yorkshire lot Geordies all night. Near the end of the gig some girl came up to me and went 'does he know we're not from Newcastle?'.

On another note, his theme of the night was to call the yorkshire lot Geordies all night. Near the end of the gig some girl came up to me and went 'does he know we're not from Newcastle?'. I agree that - compared to Manchester - the seating section just weren't into it at all until Oasis songs. In Manchester they were up by Holy Mountain. Agree with a lot of what you say here. I think the set doesn't actually need big changes. I think it's fine for the gigs he's done so far and for the remainder of this leg (only two gigs plus the Radio X thing). But come the festivals, he will need to switch it up. I'd say Heat Of The Moment needs to be moved up to the fourth song, with Keep On Reaching dropped. Love the tune but it won't get a reaction at the festivals. Depending how long the set is, maybe throw an Oasis song in early but I don't mind LBL being the first one. Riverman is great and Gem is sublime on it, but ultimately I think it's a straight shootout between that and Ballad Of The Mighty I. If I Had A Gun and Dream On both stay in. Dream On is a must. It's a massive singalong. Little By Little and IOTBI - both stay in. Personally I think Be Careful What You Wish for can stay, or at least one of that and TRS. The band are incredible and fuck the fans - I want to see some musicianship and those songs allow the band to breathe. Noel was on good form last night. But those empty seats probably don't have as much to do with the set as much as they do people not liking Holy Mountain/the album when it came out and deciding not to get tickets six months in advance I reckon something like this would work for the summer festivals that he's headlining: 1. Fort Knox 2. Holy Mountain 3. It's A Beautiful World 4. In The Heat Of The Moment 5. Ballad Of The Mighty I 6. If I Had A Gun... 7. Dream On 8. Little By Little 9. The Importance Of Being Idle 10. If Love Is The Law 11. The Man Who Built The Moon 12. Dead In The Water 13. Falling Down 14. Be Careful What You Wish For 15. She Taught Me How To Fly 16. Half The World Away 17. Wonderwall 18. AKA... What A Life! 19. Go Let It Out 20. Don't Look Back In Anger 21. All You Need Is Love

Leeds 2018 Wasn't at all excited about this gig but as soon as Noel hit the stage (and I'd had a few drinks) I was well into it! I thought the new songs worked surprisingly well live, before the gig I really didn't want 4 WBTM songs right after one another but it worked great. Highlight was obviously the next section of songs, classic HFB and Oasis - Little By Little went off and was the highlight of the night, followed by Ballad Of The Mighty I, Dream On ,What a Life etc.
Only complaints are a few songs desperately need swapping out. Careful What You Wish For and The Right Stuff fell flat on their arses, I was a bit bored through those. I love the Right Stuff on the record but it just doesn't work in its current place, especially with the casual fans and I feel like Noel has PLENTY of tunes that would replace it better, Gem's guitar solo outro was beautiful though!
Hats off to the band because they were tight all night and sounded awesome, no sound complaints at all. Clearly all of the rehearsals have paid off. All you need is love was a surprisingly nice end to the gig but c'mon this is Noel Gallagher. An artist of his caliber shouldn't be finishing a gig with a cover, especially when it isn't the best cover he's ever done. So drop BCWYWF, All you need is love and the right stuff, everybody's dying to hear TMWBTM live which would be an epic show closer followed by the encore end of What a Life. Other than that feel free to experiment Noel! Rotating Go Let It Out with another Oasis cover would work to keep the set list fresh, and then rotate a few HFB and CY tunes as well.
Overall 8/10. Thoroughly enjoyed myself, a few set list tweaks and it'd be perfect. Recommended to any Noel fan for a good night out.

I was at Leeds as well. Good gig but I saw him twice on the Chasing Yesterday tour and enjoyed those more I think.
Thought the band were excellent and Riverman, If I Had A Gun and In the Heat of the Moment sounded much better than in previous years.
I'm glad I've seen the Right Stuff but he needs to drop that, Be Careful What You Wish For and All You Need is Love. A man with that back catalogue shouldn't be ending gigs with covers.
Overall 7/10 for me.

Overall 7/10 for me. Oasis ended gigs with covers for all their career, bar one tour Really don't see it as an issue. It's a great moment and a great singalong.

Belfast last night was class. Got ridiculously close to the stage and Noel even nodded his head when he saw me waving like mad. Only qualm was the two bastards who started a punch out like no need for that. Oh and Baxter Dury
The man would be put to shame by wedding parties, his band was decent though especially the keyboard player to the right.

True, but look at the songs he has 'spiced it up with' - like The Right Stuff, for example. People aren't happy with that even though it's brilliantly done. Noel can end a concert with maybe five songs - DLBIA, WW, Whatever, Masterplan, What A Life. Those are the songs he could end a concert on, and do them justice. He's playing DLBIA acoustic and if he's going to end the gig on it it needs to be the electric version. WW is played in the main set and What A Life is the main set closer. Masterplan was played all through the last tour, while Whatever was played on the first two tours as well. I don't see the issue with the cover at all. It adds a great end to the night that everybody can sing along with, and it's all about feeling the love. It's a happy moment.
