Even more interesting... what's this?? It looks like a temporary/test website. link: noelgallagher.rtrfz.com/It's coming guys. This is 100% legit. Some live dates are already on there too. There's a redirect to Noel's official website now. Is there a screenshot? Thanks for the info BTW!

Screenshot in case the Ignition police tells Amazon to take it down. The announcement is coming very soon anyway, maybe as early as Monday I guess. As I predicted all the info in the Amazon page is now gone. No more tracklist and release date. Hard work today for the Ignition Police

I don't get how an instrumental is not an "actual song". Does anyone on this forum actually consider The Swamp Song or Fuckin' in the Bushes not "actual songs" because they don't feature vocals? Just because it doesn't feature vocals doesn't automatically mean that it's an interlude or album filler. An instrumental can be just as melodic or memorable as a song with vocals. If an instrumental comes across as slight, that's because it was either written to be slight or it's not a very good song. Just like any song with vocals. Not because it is an instrumental. Indeed, sounds like some people would rather have Dream on on an album than fucking in the bushes just because it's got vocals. It really is very intriguing, and there's no guarantee the interludes are instrumentals. Perhaps we should enjoy these last days of mystery before Monday... It's no guarantee, but titles like Interlude and End Credits sure do look like instrumentals to me. Maybe Noel WASN'T joking when he said he was working on "Instrumental #3"

You can still see some parts of the main page via Google Cache: webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://noelgallagher.rtrfz.com&ie=utf-8Interestingly enough, the cached version tells us that the test website has been up at least since Monday.

Just stuck HFB1 on for the first time in a while. It's brilliant, start to finish every song stands on it's own and works in it's own way, but melds with the rest of the album seamlessly. The album tells a vague story that leaves itself open to interpretation just enough to feel personal and classic at the same time. I hope this new album can be as focused and enjoyable as that one.
I love Chasing yesterday, but it's just a collection of tracks, Noel simply picked out his best 15 or so songs at the time, recorded them in a very unspectacular way and never seemed particularly interested in it during promotion. He basically kept writing it off as an excuse to go on tour and put Riverman/The Right Stuff out.
I cannot fucking wait for this one to drop. I've got a feeling it's going to be his best work in a long time.

In the space of a month and a half we are going to have at least 27 new Gallagher songs to get our teeth in to. What A Life.

I'm guessing with the lack of studio bonus tracks, at least that's we've seen so far, that Noel is releasing basically everything he recorded on the album. Or maybe everything that's actually finished. I wonder if iTunes and Japan will get something?

I hope Noel's stays traditional in one respect: releasing killer B-Sides with the singles.

Beautiful artwork. I like that they actually put some effort into it so that it adds something to the experience of listening to the album, and makes it worth having a physical copy of it too. Kinda gives you an idea or a feeling of what the album might sound like. Also love all the info leaking out. This is gonna be a great autumn for fans of Noel and Liam Gallagher.

Yeah but we first heard TSOTL was on 29 August 2008 or so, I vividly remember those days. Anyway, this also proves your point. A month before the record release is not that weird.

I don't mind instrumentals at all as long as they're good

Fantastic job, carlober and vito81. Well done! Finally a better artwork. Also Alison from Oasis Brasil is a trustworthy, long time member of this forum.
