If people were told unbeknown that these were new Gorillaz tunes, they'd call them dog-shite.. Just saying..

That first instrumental, fuck. Gets me hyped every time.
Beautiful World sounds really cool too, Noel's vocals sound different. Chorus is catchy as fuck and has a certain sadness to it, too.
The only problem I have with She Taught Me How to Fly is the fact that it sounds so very similar to Holmes' I Heard Wonders. I mean, I love that track but that one feels more like Noel guesting on a David Holmes track.
Overall, very very happy.

As someone mentioned, sounds like this will polarize the board. And if someone didn't like the direction of Mighty I, stay away from this album.
I am loving what I am hearing. If this is going to be very different, bring it on. This isn't 1997 anymore, if Noel can still sound like Noel and modernize it, let's go!

Can't listen right now, but which one was God Help Us All again? Is that the shouty shalalala one?

Sounds interesting anyway. Hopefully if he has to play this live, he will have to abandon the safe Oasis songs alongside them and we will hear some different stuff. Looking forward to hearing a full track, I'm generally not a huge fan of ultra-modern stuff but will give it a chance as it's Noely. I'm sure there will be plenty of stuff I like in there, just dressed up differently. I think he had to get this album out of his system, for a while I've thought of this as completing a solo trilogy before getting back with Liam.

I think its sounds really interesting and I'm excited to hear more, with Liam doing a rocking classic album and Noel doing this, I reckon this is the most exciting time in the Gallagher stratosphere since the 90's.
To those calling it shit - Honestly you people, Noel can't win with you can he? If he does something which sounds like traditional Noel, you complain its not "out there" or "different" enough. And the second he actually does do something different, you all call it shit based on 30 second previews!
You people have absolutely fuck all right to complain.

I'm not sure they're the same group of people, surely those who don't like this kind of stuff wouldn't criticise him if he made a traditional Noel record, and vice versa. Forming an opinion based on previews is silly, I give you that.

WHO'S BEIGE NOW?
To my ears this sounds amazing and I can't wait to hear the rest of it. Especially the other 5 minutes or so of It's A Beautiful World. I didn't know I needed this change from Noel until Fort Knox hit my eardrums. Can't wait to blast the fuck out of that one in the car. Too bad this comes out in November though. Hopefully we'll have a few warm days again this winter.

Has anyone confirmed that we're getting It's a Beautiful World on Friday? I'm kind of hoping there will be a constant drip of tracks up to November, since it sounded like the press has already got six tracks.

Fort Knox for sure sounds the best. The beautiful World vocal sounds like it will take some getting used to, but loving the overall sound of it. The last one sounds like New Order to me. And the French reminds me of that wacky Air France advertisement we get here in Canada haha.

Can't believe we're finally getting God Help Us All. Always loved the sound of that tune.
Previews sound interesting and give very little away except from the overall sound and feel of the album.
Bring on November.
