Holy moly! Totally unexpected. Not sure if I like what I've heard there. Same. Hard to tell with parts out of context. But I am intrigued. Yeah definitely kudos to Noel for going into that diretion. But also wondering how that style will work live in combination with his old songs...

Moyles now playing bits and pieces from it. Pretty different from what I can hear.

But also wondering how that style will work live in combination with his old songs... Should work with stuff BOTMI, WAL, ITHOTM. If he ever brought back Falling Down it would work there too. I think he's got a decent base to fall back on in terms of setlist sound.

I don't know what to think really. The first song sounds great, not sure on the other two but can't judge them from a little clip. It sure does sound interesting though and looking forward to hearing more.

Christ I’ve wanted Noel to roll the dice like this since SOTSOG*.
Please be good, please be good...
(*Very happy for Liam to follow a simple rock & roll direction)

Happy to start the "reminds me of" list Chemical Brothers? Chemicals-MGMT-New Order-Gorillaz. It’s not experimental when others got there 3 decades earlier. Given his work with the Chemicals in the past it’s not even new territory for Noel himself. Sounds to me like same Xmas tree, different tinsel.

Listening to Absolute Radio and he still hasn't mentioned the first single. Did Chris Moyles say anything about it?

It sure does sound interesting though and looking forward to hearing more. Yeah, first one sounds good. Makes a good opener like Fuckin' in the Bushes. Beautiful World...to be honest, what I'm hearing there doesn't appeal to me at all. Strange melody, weird melody and annoying effect on the voice plus the French part.. She taught me how to fly reminds me of a New Order song (the guitar especially), which is pretty cool I think.

Moyles now playing bits and pieces from it. Pretty different from what I can hear. Ohhhh fuck off! I listen to Moyles every morning, decided to listen to Absolute because of the Noel Gallagher thing and all they're talking about is Connor McGregor and Morrissey. FFS!

This isn't groundbreaking, but for Noel it is experimental.

Sounds interesting and all know what the man himself said about "interesting music". Obviously, I need to hear more before I can judge. I haven't been a fan of the AA stuff that we have heard I'm hoping this is just including elements instead of going fully blown psychedelic.

Smart to do the tour in April/May.
This album seems like it's going to take a while to 'grow' on people.
Get it out there, get people knowing the new songs he does do live, and the atmosphere will be top.
The difference between the start and end of the CY tour was stark in that regard
