Spurs have been absolutely diabolical and abject. 2-0, I’m turning this shite off.

What an absolute joke.
Going into this weekend, City would win the title if they beat Spurs and Utd lost to WBA. I was thinking - I don’t know what will happen in the City match but surely Utd wouldn’t lose to WBA. But they did.
Mourinho is the most overrated manager ever. Specialist in failure today, for sure.

Liverpool's beat Man City twice recently, they're better than Man City, but Man City won the League because of the perverted system you like, pervert. Thanks.

Thanks. so when city beat them 5-0 earlier this season it was just luck? and spurs beat liverpool twice, so theyre better? and then city beat spurs twice, so theyre better again...theres too many variables for it all to be as simple as who won the last time round.

Right now Liverpool are better..... That's the disconnect between American sports fans and non-American sports fans.....American fans view the season as a campaign, effected by injuries, teams improving or falling apart.....and who's left standing at the end. And if there's ties it's settled with dueling pistols. Thanks.

Thanks. how do non-american fans view a season if not as a campaign? football teams are also effected by injuries etc, and whoever gets through the season the best, despite the setbacks, is the winner. makes sense to me. unlike play-off systems which pretty much make the bulk of regular season games pointless all the while giving teams the opportunity to win a championship having not played every team competing.

I prefer playoffs....I get the whole points system style, but I don't really care what teams do at the beginning of a season, for instance, i.e. The New England Patriots started the 2014-15 season 0-4 and went on to win the Super Bowl. And, Liverpool are still better than Man City right now. Thanks.

Thanks. couldnt that be the point tho? you dont care what happens at the beginning because it doesnt matter that much to the outcome of the season. in football, every game counts, so 'who is the better team' is a season long question. if by 'right now' you mean the last month, then yeah, thats probably fair. but having a better month isnt the same as being a better team...in my opinion anyway.

Can we at least agree that Tom Brady would be a horrible soccer player? Terrible on his feet....maybe he could be a goalie, he's tall and lanky. Thanks.

Morata: 14 goals in 41 games - 0.34 Lacazette: 12 goals in 31 games - 0.38 Comparable for sure. But Morata cost £20m more than Lacazette! So it has to be Morata as the bigger flop. In the Premier League (according to the BBC website) Morata 11 goals 6 assists in 1826 minutes Lacazette 10 goals 3 assists in 1869 minutes Lacazette was Arsenal's record transfer but was so pish they went and broke their transfer record again 6 months later to replace him Don’t think so mate, don’t think so. Lacazette now has 14 goals in the PL and 17 in all competitions for a total of 17 goals in 38 matches. Morata is the flop (15 goals in 45 games in all competitions). Lacazette has actually done very well, and cost significantly less than Morata. I’m slowly coming around to starting both Lacazette and Aubameyang next season - how many times are both ending up on the scoresheet in the same game! But if we do that we need to bring in a goal scoring winger as playing them together risks both burn out and injury and Welbeck is not a good enough replacement.

Haha, it's just fun winding you up about Arsenal. I couldn't care less.

Skysports’ season montage should be done with the Wombats’ Turn. Would be epic.
Maybe it’s the crazy I’d miss, it won’t get better than this! (Maybe it’s the Wenger I’ll miss.... 😭).
