Say what you will about Liverpool, but it is solely because of them that City’s trophy won’t be gold. Frankly, I think this City team is miles ahead of the Arsenal Invincibles. Hurts to admit the truth. Definitely. Don’t get me wrong going the whole season undefeated is an incredible achievement but they also drew 12 games that season. City should easily smash the points total Arsenal got that season and they’ve already scored 9 more goals than Arsenal did that season with 10 games to go.

The two times Liverpool (would) have challenged for the league in decades and everything goes against them (that slip and the Palace match in 2014, and a rampant Citeh in 2018).
If I weren’t an Arsenal fan, I’d be rolling on the floor laughing my fucking ass off.

It’s so quiet, it’s so quiet, it’s so quiet at the Bridge. It’s so quiet at the Bridge.

5 losses from the last 7 in the PL for Chelsea. If that were Arsenal we would never hear the end of it. God I hate Chelsea so much.

it was a reckless tackle. Penalty and red. Agüero was lucky there, he could have been seriously injured

Citeh are damn lucky that after Spurs they have the easiest run-in ever. If they didn’t, there would be a chance at throwing away the title in the most spectacular way. But they won’t. But a Spurs win next weekend would be nice to see.

As soon as it happened i said penalty, ref seemed to lose control for a while afterwards.

The very fact that decisions like this can be argued both ways is exactly why and how VAR can never work - it’s all subjective.

LOL So just because you touch the ball a bit you can break someone's leg without any foul?! Clear red... Some player with a little less luck (and weaker bones) would have his leg in two pieces after that tackle.

You know what rule they need to clarify? Handballs.
Imo, intent shouldn’t matter. If you’re too close and can’t possibly get out of the way, that’s one thing. But other than that a handball is a fucking handball - the clue is in the name for fucks sake.

Morata must be the flop of the season.

The Man City - Man Utd match was one of the matches of the season. The difference in United and Pogba in the second half was a joy to behold (by all but City fans)...City could go 4 games without a win in all competitions (lose to Liverpool last week, United at weekend, Liverpool tomorrow and Spurs next weekend)

Morata must be the flop of the season. Lacazette Morata: 14 goals in 41 games - 0.34 Lacazette: 12 goals in 31 games - 0.38 Comparable for sure. But Morata cost £20m more than Lacazette! So it has to be Morata as the bigger flop.

In the Premier League (according to the BBC website) Morata 11 goals 6 assists in 1826 minutes Lacazette 10 goals 3 assists in 1869 minutes Lacazette was Arsenal's record transfer but was so pish they went and broke their transfer record again 6 months later to replace him
