It's by far the weakest song on WTSMG in my opinion, I can't stand it, it's so monotonous and feels like it goes on forever

Nowadays it's my favourite song on the album, I love the guitar solo.

I've always liked it tbf.
A lot to like about the song, especially lyrically and the guitar solo.

The chorus should be stronger is the main problem.

It's surrounded by classics on arguably their best album. Its not a bad song at all. The lyrics are good and the guitar solo is great. I quite like it, Liam's vocal is very good too, the chorus probably let's it down a tad.
I really like the acoustic demo from the re-issue.

If it ended at around the 4th minute mark it would be a lot better but as it is it's a pretty good album track, I definitely wouldn't say I can't stand it.

It's maybe the "weakest track" on WTSMG but it's still a really good track. A bit long, but it's far from being shit. It's really melancholic, I like the lyrics, Liam's vocals.
A very good song.

I don't like the song at all and it seems to go on forever!
How it made it on the album over Rockin Chair I'll never know

Although Hello and Hey Now are arguably not the Era defining classics like Wonderwall, DLBIA, And Champagne supernova... They are amazing amazing tunes and share the same production and feel of the greatest album of all time.
I love, appreciate and bow down to the "Classics" from MG BUT they have all been overplayed, Overgigged and I just dont listen to them much now.
Wheras Hey Now... I loved it in 95 and I love it and listen to it 22 years later.

I think it does drag a bit towards the end, but I love Liam's vocal and Noel's multilayered guitar work. I like the way that Alan's drumming punctuates the track too. A very good track surrounded by classics. A shame they didn't have the budget for a live string section though. The synth strings sound slightly thin in places. I'm glad Noel ditched the original lyric: "I took a call from the cops on Top of the Pops..." loaded.co.uk/track-by-track-the-making-of-oasis-classic-whats-the-story-morning-glory-9/amp/#top

The chorus just ruins it for me. Hello is indeed an Oasis classic however.

I really like the 'feel no shame' refrain.
Not a great song, but still very good. Big sound and big vocals.

Not a bad song at all but suffers from being sandwiched between absolute classics on either side and going about 2 minutes too long.

Cast No Shadow goes on a bit as well but for some reason doesn't get the same stick that Hey Now does.
Cast No Shadow is very repetitive.

Cast No Shadow goes on a bit as well but for some reason doesn't get the same stick that Hey Now does. Cast No Shadow is very repetitive. Cast No Shadow is gorgeous though. And it's maybe repetitive lyrically but melodically, there are no problem. Pretty distinctive parts. I like Hey Now, but Cast No Shadow really is a superior track.
