It's really nice to see how much effort they're putting into the single artworks this time round.

I like it, it's one of those "waving your lighter in the air" type of songs. Liam sounds great on it as well. The influences are clear. Could've fit on an Oasis album.
But let's not kid ourselves, it's also pretty fucking generic.

Here's my attempt at creating an instrumental. It's not exactly an instrumental because you can still hear the vocals, although it's mostly the reverb. You can hear the details in guitar and strings more clearly in this mix. clyp.it/3uwpudek

Had a lie-in so only just heard it A little disappointed, mainly with the production. It's SO plodding and commercial. The first two songs that have come out have been refreshing to listen to - modern production with a classic voice. This is just...meh. As others have said, if it were a Robbie Williams song, or even a Take That song, it would fit right in. I guess they got Radio 2 right with the premiere. Liam can't accuse people of being 'beige' ever again after this song. The song itself is OK, not an instant classic to my ears at least. First couple of lines is just 'How Do You Sleep'. The vocal is decent, the lyrics are decent, the rest is just so generic! Appreciate many of you will think it's great, and that's fine, it's all about opinions after all...

I prefer the rockers, personally, but it's a good song. I really like the verses.

Generic but I admit that it sticks in your head. Should make a video also.

A lot of people keep referring to Blobby Williams but to be totally honest the guy came out with hit after hit for 5 years at least. I don't see it being too much of a problem and let's face it without the Oasis ballads in the 90s people like RW might not have had those type of hits in the first place.

Second listen, good song but absolutely not great imo. I think the OTT people will go mad but will say it's not that great in a week or two. Disappointing after all the hype, but not a bad song by any means. Agree. Forgettable song with below-average vocals. I'm really disappointed. I don't post very often on here really, I can't be arsed, but you are honest to god starting to do my tits in ye miserable fucker. Can't make up my mind if you're a troll or just a bawbag.

I think you are just cherry picking posts. Most of my posts have been very positive. In fact, I would say about 80% of them have been positive. But I understand that these other 20% makes you very angry.

Am I the only one that think this is a great song? No, I'm in. I love it. I'm a lover..... not a hater!

Decent on first couple of listens. Bit generic. Kinda getting the RW comparisons, but it feels more like one of his lesser B-sides from one of his first 4 albums (ignoring the swing one ), rather than an A-side. Also, I can't unhear the Carry Us All similarity since someone mentioned it . Could grow on me and might click at some random point in the future, but atm, not doing much for me.

Gave it a couple listens. Keeping in mind I also liked The Beat Goes On (and I'm really not that picky about music in general)...I love the song...and I thought the chorus was fantastic!
I like it more than Chinatown but not as much as Wall of Glass. To me, FWIW is just missing an instrumental solo for it to be phenomenal and Oasis-like for me.
To me, this album is shaping up to be 4/5 stars. Very excited!

I can literally hear him singing 'Let There Be Love' at the ending of the chorus.
