Mixed response on here and twitter, not received as well as Wall of Glass, it's a decent song just not as good as the hype beforehand. If we end up with a solid 3/5 album, that's cool.

Listened to it two times. It's alright I guess. Has a Robbie Williams feel all over it in my opinion. Doesn't have to be a bad thing. Maybe this will appeal to a wider audience. I think I prefer Bold and Paper crown though.

To the people calling it weak, please compare it to tracks 8-11 of DOYS!Add to that the best Liam vocal since at least SOTSOG. Strong 8/10 after a few listens. What kind of argument is that? Maybe "To the people calling it strong, please compare it to ANY track on 'London Calling'? - Makes the same amount of sense. It's actually pretty funny that Liam keeps calling Noel's music "Beige" and then proceeds to release a tune that's more beige than a fucking 90's desktop computer. For 'What it's Worth' is in the same songwriting realm as 'The Beat Goes On' - lazy combination of descending chords dipped in a lacklustre production.

I think the chorus sounds great, yeah it's a very Beatlesesque melody but it's the best version of one from LG for years. Personally I love it and I think he sounds fucking great. EDIT : I love the guitar work here, understated but absolutely great. The touring band will soon make a hash of it. Ahahaha

Great verses. Chorus is a bit 90s ballad by Numbers but its great overall.
So I LOVE Simon Aldred/Cherry Ghost and anyone who knows their stuff - Liam's vocal on the highest two words on the chorus sound EXACTLY like Simon Aldred's....
"Worth" and "Iiii" literally sounds exactly like Simon Aldred! I wonder if they beefed those high notes by mixing in the guide vocal? Or maybe it's a production technique/vocal effect Aldred has used on Liam's voice. It's not autotune tho...

I want to like it, but not really into it. There's a cheese element to it. A bit Paul McCartney.

Just bought it on iTunes (UK). Second listens better. Still not keen on the chorus as much as the rest. Good tune though just I had probably hyped it up too much
Liam’s doing 4 live songs on the release day on radio 2. Should be good

You have to pre-order it to get that. Just got mine by email. Sorry, bit i doni know why i cant pre roder byte official site. Can you post me the link go pero order? Thanks I guess the link to the order-button will be different depending on what version you want to pre-order. Maybe it's a regional thing, depending on where you live? All though I live in Norway I'm directed to the uk-store and used that. The download seems to follow all the editions of the album if it's pre-ordered from Liam's official store. What happens when you try to pre-order, do you get an error message or something?

Just received the link to mp3 of For What It's Worth from official site and I'm listening to it. I'm listening to this song for the very first time and I love it, but after the chorus not much.
Well done, Liam. October can't come quick.

"The song was written by Simon Aldred, the frontman of Bolton band Cherry Ghost, as a 'regretful but not desperate' apology, Liam told Q magazine in June - although he didn't reveal who he is saying sorry to."

LG's Carry Us All. It's the first thought that crossed my mind after hearing the chorus. Need more listens.

I'm all for different opinions, but trying to convince people the song is shit, bad, or just not as good as someone else thinks is just ridiculous. Voice your opinion and get on with your day. I'm sure you'll find a more fulfilling life focusing on something you actually like. Goes for people also trying to argue with all the trolls... The block button is getting a fuckin' workout these past few weeks, and trust me, the experience of going on here gets way more enjoyable that way. Also... I fuckin' love this track. Catchy and the best LG vocals in over a decade, this album is really shaping up to be really really good. A perfect mix of radio friendly hits and rough rockers
