Only heard Greedy Soul, Wall of Glass and Paper Crown from the newer stuff. Liked the first two alot. Voice wise I think Liam sounded okay. Better than he has in a few years. Morning Glory, DYKWIM, BHN all fucking rocked. The acapella Live Forever was special. Slide Away, and honestly his voice on the newer stuff sounded pretty strained, we'll see if his voice gets stronger or weaker.

oh no was i suppossed to say it would be "mega" to hear that or "biblical"? either way. lots of great liam oasis songs to sing. he should do some. no he should do whatever the fuck he wants, wich he did i seem to have more faith in liam's songs than all you who are sticking up for him. it's weird. |

Guys, it was a warmup show. He wasn't going to play a full set. That's how warmup shows work. very true. just like the black island studios gig in 2008. That Black Island gig was 20 songs, only 13 were broadcast. I believe only My Big Mouth is unheard, the other 6 via msn.com? |

Hmmm... End of the day, Noel WROTE those songs. They are classics. However, what made them classics in the first place is Liam. So it's fair game. Liam can write a very good song. He just hasn't got great choruses in him. But he smashed it out of the park tonight from what I saw so hopefully we'll all be pleased come October! yeah, people always bring it up, who wrote the song and bla bla, but as Liam says, when he starts to sing it, he claims the song. Its his, he is making it! Come on guys, Champagne supernova, when noel sings it, it puts people to sleep, but in that moment Liam went in that studio (glad it was filmed) and sung it, it became classic. Hes special. Noel is a great songwriter but he would not be as good on his own or with an average singer... You really are a moron. |

Thanks for posting that man! I dunno if people are realising the significance of Liam Gallagher singing Live Forever a capella. It's Liam Gallagher. Solo. He's a voice. He's not a band, or a songwriter, or song. He's a voice. And that was fucking incredible. So glad to have that voice back in my life. Might sound lame, but I love that guy singing songs. Majestic. |
