Male. Born in 1997, two months before they released their best ever song. Became a fan in 2008 and saw them live the next year, two months before they split.

17 when I joined the forum, 26 now. Christ, time flies. 16 years old when I properly discovered them, though I always liked them since Little By Little was released when I was 11. Fandom came in drips and drabs - I remember BBC News at 10 doing a feature on The Masterplan video, saw that on rotation on the old Freeview channel The Hits (anyone remember?!), bought Stop The Clocks around this time ten years ago and never looked back. Joined this forum in summer 2008, and still the first port of call for music discussion. Although I don't listen to them as much as I used to (I often go months without listening to Oasis now), they're no less important to me than ten years ago - the fandom is subsumed by other music but hasn't subsided.

21, male
My ex-friend has Oasis poster on his bathroom door. He shared his Oasis love to friends including me. It was 5 years ago. I didn't catch Oasis music so long, mates had too much jokes about plums and brothers as gay lovers but not me. Even first time when I listened to DM I didn't like Live Forever and they said - WTF man, are you joking?! But then I fell in love with SISAO (Time Flies compliation is great for people who wanna get involved in Gallaghers), listened to gigs of every year (even horrible 2003 and 2006), bought DOYS and NGHFB CDs and now I dream about going to Liam or Noel or Oasis gig (tbh, I don't want reunion, they never will be like in 90s)

19, male. Knew Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger since I was about 14. Really became a fan in 2014 after hearing most of the other 90's classics (Live Forever, Supersonic, Some Might Say, Whatever, Slide Away, Rock'n'Roll Star were the ones, iirc). After that, I borrowed "The Masterplan" compilation from the media library.
It's a few weeks later that I'll discover the rest of DM and WTSMG, and all of BHN.

0-20. Well, 20. So technically I fit into 0-20 and 20-30. WGAF, stay young First heard TIOBI when I was 9, got into NG/LG/Oasis when I was 15 a few months after the release of AKA...WAL, then joined here about a week before the CY FB event at 18. Apologies for overuse of acronyms.

38 years old and a fan since '94. nice. you have two years on me, i didn't become a fan until early 1996 when i heard a cd by this band oasis called what's the story morning glory. it blew my ears off, and my mind. transferred it on to a cassette tape and i must have listened to it hundreds of times, full blast with the windows down in my 1984 olds cutlass supreme that summer.

25, male. Been a fan since about 2007-2008. Think I first just listened to a handful of their most popular songs on youtube. Live Forever from the Familiar to millions-concert, the music video for don't look back in anger and stuff like that. Then later I think I saw an advert on tv for DOYS, and decided to buy it. Mostely listened to the "softer" songs, then I slowely grew into liking more rough rock music. So you could say I became a true fan first around 2008. After that I startet to check out the rest of their back catalogue, and they soon became almost the only band I listened to for a while. Perhaps not so crazy about the band now as I used to be, my musical taste has changed etc... But I'm still a fan of them.

I was born exactly one month before Definitely Maybe. Still remember crawling to the store and buying it the day it was released. Good times.
