He's at his most annoying on HTWA, but it's in the phrasing rather than the voice. Seems to have totally lost the spirit of the original version.

Seriously now, can spud or anybody else tell me what's wrong with that performance of HTWA? Sounds completely fine to me.

His haircut actually is a lot like his voice. It hasn't changed since the 90's, but it seems different at the same time.

He seems to sing in a bit of an American accent sometimes, especially in the last few years. Listen to when repeats the lines "half the world away" - it's very American compared to the original version.

He might be having some issues with his diction, and I suspect it's due to his teeth shifting (due to age). It's also noticeable on Chasing Yesterday.
The voice is still great, though.

I preferred when he just sang instead of thinking about it too much. Have a look at Morning Glory at Earls Court '95. Although he was occasionally unlistenable back then. Dunno what I'm talking about. I'm a potato.

I don't know what it is really but I prefer 90s. Noel seems to go weirdly quiet at the end of a line now.

BTW, I just found this video AND this is the video I shared it on here! I watched it live at home on 25th June 2004 and recorded it on my video recorder, then later I transfered it to a DVD disc by my standalone DVD recorder and I uploaded it on here to share. It was the night when I got into Oasis. Now some idiot posted it on his youtube channel without giving any credit to where he got it from. Nice one, I know who you are.

He made a comment once about x factor singers always putting on American accents....
He does exactly that with lot of words

He absolutely has a much more solid voice than 90s, and yet I can't stand his singing now. Why does he end up adopting some American country singer style and sound so fake. Isn't singing about delivering the right emotion encapsulated in a song as a whole. Voice/techniques should serve that purpose not jeopardizing it. If Noel thinks he's getting better because he can do all that unnecessary little tricks, he's under some serious delusion.

I like his voice on the whole but recently he's been trying to sound like Bob Dylan too much.
