I guess without realising it myself until today I must be an Albarn/Gorillaz/Noel zombie, as that track has actually GROWN on me so much that I just went and bought it, when I did not like it the first time. Actually I had it in my head all day yesterday in the office after hearing it only the one time and while I listened to it in my head, I started to like it. If that sounds a bit weird, I always enjoy it when something like that happens, as that was not the first time and I ususally especially treasure songs that stalk me like that.

I've never been a "fan" of them or Albarn, so don't know anything about their work, but what Damon Albarn has been doing past years caught me my interest like his Africa Express with The Syrian Orchestra.
I watched the live webcast of their performance with Weller and many others as guest musicians at Holland Festival last year and it was really something. Very fascinating and it made me realise how music can bind people together.

Hmm...well, sooner or later your lifestyle catches up with you. IMO Weller looks much older than he is and that hairstyle is not a good look on him. Marr still looks pretty good though. |
