I hope it's not shit like their last one. From the 3 songs I've heard it doesnt gives me much hope. I wonder what is that guitar saving music song, because of those three none has qualities to be called that. |

just listened to it and I dont like it, just feels very shallow and the chorus is has a piss poor melody.

Like the sound of Pyscho, I'm sure the chorus will be a grower. Verses are solid though.

That album cover..................terrible. This band is on a terrible run of album covers. Last 3 are absolute turds. Don't mind the new single, like the beat to it. Doesn't sound like guitar music. Clubby music maybe.

It's better than what I expected. It sounds a bit generic and bland but overall it's listenable and I bet it will get a lot of airplay. That artwork is piss-poor though. Just plain awful, ugh. |

The new song is unremarkable, although ok. But I would really like to hear them sing about something else now. Ever since 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' it feels like all their songs are about people being seen as crazy, that have to take on the rest of the ignorant world. Often with clichéd/mediocre social commentary as a result. You did it great with Underdog (their best song imo), but now you've done that already. Bring some new ideas to the table!

My guess is that there's some sort of in-joke within the band that would explain the album/single covers. Probably did it for a bet or something. Single sounds ok. Quality is round about that of Velociraptor album tracks though, so if this is the lead single, doesn't bode that well for the album. Could be interesting though, sounds like a slightly more mature revisit of some of their earlier releases. Damn, hope this isn't going to be Kasabian's version of Heathen Chemistry...  |
