Was going to nominate 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking?' by the Rolling Stones, but @id1edreamer already nominated 'Memory Motel'.
Saw Oasis on the Brotherly Love Tour with the Black Crowes, Noël came out for the Black Crowes encore and did 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking?' with the Crowes....great song.
God bless.

God bless. we can nominate them both. i don't believe there is a limit on how many songs can be nominated by the same artist. i don't believe i have never heard that version of 'can't you hear me knocking' with noel and the black crowes. wonder if a recording exists? eva mimmihopps

I heard Noël and the Black Crowes do 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking?' at the Cleveland show of the Brotherly Love Tour, circa 2001.....on some dates of that tour I think they encored a Fleetwood Mac song with Noël, not sure which one.... God bless.

that is friggin' awesome. however sadly... if we haven't yet heard a recording of noely g. playing 'can't you hear me knocking' with the black crowes, then more than likely a recording of it doesn't exist. damn.

on another note: i already have a couple of good ones to nominate for track 5, but seeing as 'there she goes' is going to be nominated as a track 5, i'm wondering if i should even bother with mine. god bless.

I dont like there she goes(or at least the versión that the las recorded) so be free to nominate Lithium by Nirvana 😉

I hate how everyone I know thinks that's the original!

I hate how everyone I know thinks that's the original! No, I just dont like the recording on the album. Live performances were quite better. Feelin' for me was the best La's song. I hated her voice(this is the only part about Sixpence none the richer cover)

I kind of hope it's not full of predictable narrow scoped stuff - i.e. The Verve, The La's, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, etc. Something a bit different to keep everyone on their toes would be cool. I'll definitely vote for There She Goes for track 5. One of my favourite tunes of all the time. I was suprised "Timeless Melody" only got 4 votes during 3rd round. I listened to "The La's" self titled album a few days ago, and I do think it's one one of the best pop albums ever made. Nothing comparable with the Monkeys or Kasabian (even though I understand you were talking about their respective links with Oasis ) . By the way, when will round n°4 begin ? Sorry lubeck, was going to get back to you on this - I'll give it a couple more days in case anyone else wants to nominate. I'm trying to think of another one for myself.

It will be a very interesting round. Probably the most unpredictable one.

Listened to 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking?' on iTunes shuffle this morning, to be perfectly honest, the song should win this entire competition.....great guitar riff, great solo, great vocal......lyrically not that the best but who really cares about lyrics. Thanks.

Be arsed with There She Goes! Good song but surely we can deviate from the usual formula now we've got a few typical tracks out the system.

That's Track 4 poll up - once again, polls are restricted to one act per round, so some tracks had to be omitted as they didn't gain the same number of nominations.
