It should be something from the Solanum genus, thanks.

Am I wrong or some review of BE already made some comparisons with The Velvet ? (for Flick of the Finger, especially).

I hope Liam will release his demo's on his website (there will be one right?). I wish Noel would do that too. Releae that AA album on his website for free, or via Soundcloud. Same with some live songs, demo's and alternative versions. He's never going to release something that took thousands of dollars to make for free. He's better off sitting on it, letting the mystique grow, and then release it for a boat load of money later-on. And that's not only Noel who'd do it, and for good reason.

Watching Supersonic made me even more eager to hear Liam again. So I'm excited, even if Matt Whitecross said it sounds like "Ozzy Osbourne on Sesame Street".
(That said, Liam might be a surprise hit on Sesame street...if they could understand him)

(That said, Liam might be a surprise hit on Sesame street...if they could understand him) I don't think it would be... uhh... appropriate for Sesame Street. Still, would watch the fuck out of it if it happened, and I don't care if it's made for children

If people gave the new album a proper fair and proper listen, they’re in for a treat.” That's the problem, many people, even on this forum, will not give it a proper fair an proper listen. Liam will very likely get many more listens than the songs actually warrant. He is trading on his name at this point. Nothing wrong with that, but the idea that he will be held back by his reputation is ridiculous. As for whitecross' remarks - obviously he's gonna plug Liam's album as Liam has been quite active in promoting the movie. It's the same shit we've heard about every album since heathen chemistry though. Biblical! Immense! Collosal! Mega! Then you get Ain't Got Nothin...

"It's like the Bee Gees doing The Velvet Underground on a week's bender with melatonin." Haha there was one time these type of quotes were being said one after the other. Then kasabian adopted it too, cringe worthy. I remember one being something along the lines of 'elvis covering t-Rex whilst smoking crack'

I don't think we can say what it warrants until we actually hear the thing. I also think that Matt wouldn't have said anything at all had he thought it was shit. He wanted to bring it up I don't think he was under any pressure whatsoever to do so.

From their last album cycle: "It's like Led Zeppelin doing the Beatie Boys" - Serge on Bumblebee. * Wait.........they have a song called fucking Bumblebee!!!!

Only 5 years to go until the HFB 10th anniversary edition... That bonus disc isn't going to fill itself ✌️

Go figure.

Go figure. What album is that, it sounds amazing ✌️ Yeah but you just know it will end up actually being a bloke with an acoustic guitar whose discovered a bit of sampling Seriously I've yet to listen to a single album where journalists have made those sort of comparisons and hear anything like what they had claimed in the write up

Ted Kessler, of Q Magazine, alos stated that he heard a couple of tracks and that one track reminded him of T. Rex.
All that could mean that Liam got to from the 60's to the 70's now.

It's like the stones, on a mad one, fucking the verve up the ass So like this then, given The Stones (via Allen Klein) did fuck The Verve metaphorically?
