lets break it down. 1. Liam has just enrolled himself on a solo deal with the warner bros which would mean they would have to be in on the conspiracy that Liam isnt actually working with the bros at all but in fact creating a new oasis album that likely would have nothing to do with the bros so they have no reason to piss ass about. 2. Noels a lazy bastard whos only just wrapped up the CY stuff a couple of months ago, I doubt hes ready to roll out an oasis album by christmas time 2016, no sir, mr gallyger needs a good break sir, the fact hes back in the studio just means the break will be engaged later rather than sooner. 3. Liams spent a while talking about solo songs and all that jazz while pissing over Noels bonfire for not attending the oasis ventures, doubt Liam has the sneak and the tolerance to pull of such a feat of falsehood for no reason when he knows oasis is back on the burner. 4. oasis has created an album to a point of near release and not one single NME article has stated such shit? nah mate. 5. the anomaly.  |

It's April right now here in the Southern hemisphere where it's the start of summer. People forget there's posters here that aren't from the Northern hemisphere. Our seasons and months are the complete opposite to yours. None of that makes any sense. It's November everywhere. |

At best there might be some Noel demos he's not got round to releasing that he hands over to Liam to nail down some vocals then release it as an EP, but there's no real money in it so why would they bother? I call absolutely horseshit.

Yep. Can't stand that kind of shit. I've yet to see it be done where it's added any depth at all to the artistry of a album/song/etc. And mostly, it just comes across as a vain attempt at disguising an output's distinct lack of any depth (i.e. Kasabian's 48:13). Even with Bowie on his last one, if we're to take the image of a black star as a representation of himself, or his artistry - or hell, even if it was just an allusion to his illness - the massive great black star bang smack in the middle of a white background, on the cover, and his name being spelt with fragments of black stars, directly below it, would probably've been enough--maybe the album and song title 'Blackstar' being stylised as ★ wasn't exactly necessary... But, hell, I can't get too tetchy about any of that, when he went to such lengths elsewhere:       Anyway, where do you stand on the issue? And in particular, do you think the consumer of Bon Iver's new record is gaining anything from Justin Vernon naming the songs as he has? (that's not a leading question, btw - just interested to know what you think on the matter) |
