Wouldn't be surprised if the rumor actually pertains to Liam Gallagher and his solo material, and that the journalist in question just got the reference muddled up.
That, to me, is the most likely scenario - that The Anomaly refers to a LG Solo Album.

If it did originate from mediamass then as I pointed out in the earlier post that website deliberately publishes false stories to prove a point of how quickly and easily stories are mass consumed and believed without any verification these days. The name “Mediamass” The project's name is an ironic reversal of portmanteau “mass-media” (media for the masses) in “media-mass” which here means “media en masse” as mass production and therefore mass consumption are the object of our criticism. |

AEG are a major promoter but without any official word and given the existing business set ups for Liam , Noel and Oasis as artists I will take it with a pinch of salt unless something definite is announced or leaked with proof. You must have massive hands to take such humongous pinches of salt ✌️ |

The title sounds wank if it is true. Sounds like a typical Oasis Mk2 album title, which were also very wank.
And if the album sounds anything like their last wank effort (DOYS) I'd rather they didn't bother at all. It would have disaster written all over it.
If however, it shows promising signs of Noel's solo career with Liam back on vocals, a beefed up and louder sound again, plus Brian Cannon back doing an iconic Oasis cover shoot again, then maybe, just maybe (not definitely maybe) this may be the comeback album we've all been waiting for.

For me they are the 2 worst albums they ever did, followed quickly by HC and then SOTSOG. Dig Out Your Soul wasn't that bad (but yeah, compared to the golden Oasis age it's absolute shite), but I personally agree on Don't Believe The Truth. I disliked it way more than HC... |

dig out your soul is a half built bridge, I had a lovely walk across it up until I realized its not finished and Im stood on the end of the built piece suspended over the water looking over at the shore and seeing come on outside its alright and record machine playing away to the tune of Liams vocals and all that I can think is "fuck sake" while nature of reality laughs at me down the in the water.

It's April right now here in the Southern hemisphere where it's the start of summer. People forget there's posters here that aren't from the Northern hemisphere. Our seasons and months are the complete opposite to yours. |
