not sure whether Liam really likes that album or not, he said he does but then Noel hates it so is he just saying that to be different ya know?

I think Liam genuinely likes "Be here now": it's straight rock'n'roll songs like he fancies. He says the album's a bit long for his liking because he's obviously never been a fan of guitar solos & always criticized Noel for "wanting to be Eric Clapton" (or "fuckin' Slash"). I guess he may have been a bit bored onstage during the long guitar solos ("All around the world" in particular)...

Name 4 songs on Be Here now Liam Actually he had some nice stories about the BHN era and also plans on doing a few of them tunes live... I started to write but this takes too long today, sorry. I´ll post it tomorrow. Just one thing, I heard a few songs and they were really really good. And I don´t mean "woohooo Liam could fart into a mic and I would love it". Nice lyrics, wonderful melodies, a very unique style. Not comparable to Oasis or Beady Eye. I can understand the Velvet Underground comparison a little but it´s a lot more - hard to describe. And fuck...the guy can still sing Rest tomorrow, as you were

Okay as writing this all together takes more than a few minutes and it probably isn´t that interesting for you to read that we had beers or cigarette breaks I cut it to the questions posted here for right now. Maybe I have written it all down tonight or maybe it takes longer. It was for a german music mag. The interview will be released beginning of February (I´ll post it then). Not sure what exactly they release because the actual interviewer was a complete idiot and I have no idea why he did the thing. But I guess they will put in some of my stuff too as it was a lot more informative and entertaining I think DM related stuff: He remembers doing the Blackpool Roadshow thing but he has no knowledge if this was ever shown and also doesn´t know who could have the recording. Real People recording he also couldn´t say a lot about but he will give my contact details to them to maybe get an interview with them (would need some help from davidjay if this really happens). MG related stuff: I asked if there is any more hidden stuff like his Sad Song version in Supersonic, like a version of him singing DLBIA. He says that he did a take on every MG album song so also on DLBIA and Step Out, has no clue though if still existing. He thinks he wasn´t doing any DM Noel songs but then again he also couldn´t remember doing Sad Song so who knows. His answer about Hanging On The Telephone by Blondie was "fuck no, never ever" BHN/Chasing The Sun project: He wasn´t involved in any of it. He likes the DYKWIM rethink and thinks Noel should have done the whole album. As BHN is one of my favorite eras but it´s not as covered as DM/MG I asked him for some stories from back then about recording and touring and he had some hilarious stories which I will post then in the full thing. About having contact with ex members: Bonehead regularly, Guigsy not a lot but there is still contact, Whitey nothing, Tony nothing until the Supersonic premiere, Gem and Andy not a lot, Noel... About any future Oasis releases: None of his business but he actually thought they would do a Knebworth release shortly after Supersonic as there was some serious talk about it. "Maybe next year or for it´s 30th" DIV sessions: He thinks they did a great job back then but Noel sacked them. Maybe I get more information on this in january Show Me Your Love: Actually I had to play it for him on my phone ´cause he couldn´t remember it. But he says they all had a pretty good outcome of songs at that time. Even though some of them were shit they recorded a lot of stuff back then. So if there ever will be a re-issue we could get a lot of unheard stuff. Beady Eye: He thinks it was the right time to do after the split but thinks they were lacking of great songs. He broke up then because in his eyes it wasn´t going anywhere but he enjoyed those few years and wishes the others good luck. His new stuff: I heard 3 songs and they were great. A lot darker than expected, the bass is really outstanding on one song. His voice sounded great, no of course not the 90s voice but it fits perfectly for those songs. I asked him if all songs will be like that and he said there will also be rockier and mellow songs but mostly they all have the same vibe. I´m sorry that I can´t describe it better, I never was good with that and I can´t tell any lyrics but I think it will bring him back to where he belongs as he really did a great job with it and clearly had more than one thought about it. Can´t say anything when we will hear it but it will be sooner than expected. Live he will also do Oasis and a couple of Beady Eye songs. As I wrote yesterday he is also thinking about BHN and also songs not played all the time (LISTEN UP!!!!). He wants to have a pool of songs rehearsed and vary the setlists which I commented with a "thank fuck, finally" He understood what I meant About who records with him and who tours with him I am not allowed to say anything for now. I´m sorry about that, I know it´s disappointing but I can´t change it. I just can say that this was one of the best experiences in my whole life. Not just ´cause it´s LG but because it was a huge pleasure to listen to him. Not fake or anything, one moment you can clearly see that he is moved when he talks about Bonehead and Guigsy leaving the band the other moment he sings over Don´t Let Me Down which plays in the backround, saying we should carry on before he starts dancing on the table Telling stories about being wasted and not even realising playing infront of a crowd but also talking about knowing that he wasn´t the easiest guy to work with. PS: As I said the whole thing I will post when it´s done. Pictures were done which I will get next week and the recording I hope before christmas to upload what allowed. Sorry for making people wait but if I would have written this all in once now you wouldn´t get anything today I guess
