Do you seriously think he's going to sell? Has Brian ever sold off Oasis rarities before? He's mates with the band and has only just finished working with them on the Chasing The Sun project. Can't imagine Noelly Poly being too impressed by this behaviour. Brian could lose future work on other Oasis anthologies etc in the future if he does this. It never stopped Alan McGee putting CD's and tapes including the Giants demos to the Britpop Store guy a couple of years ago so if he was offered enough then you never know. I don't follow Brian Cannon on Facebook or any other social media so I'm not 100% sure of his personality or the the tone he uses while posting, in some of that thread he reads as sarcasm and some reads true. I guess McGee no longer had a professional working relationship with the band whereas Cannon does (or at least has the potential for more future work). We'll have to see what happens... unless there are some very rich forum members willing to chip in!! |

I know from past collection funds for rarities there are a few big hitters out there who would put in a few quid, the £10k is a mental price, but in reality I do think we could hit a few grand if organised properly. Also, just as a quick aside I hope none of the collectors think I'm being an arse. I know what it means to build up trust with people who have rare material, should it be a demo or an instrumental for example. I spent 7-8 years building up great relationships with people, some I consider friends now when running the old rkid003 blog. I'm just of the opinion that the community, as previously evidenced, can work together to get material out for everyone should the circumstances allow it. |

The best news about this is that we are finding out these unreleased songs actually exist. If you had believed what Noel has said over the years and from the look of the reissue's you could be forgiven for thinking the cupboard was bare. Its starting to look like a career anthology could have some very interesting stuff on it.

Is there someone in touch with Brian Cannon if he really sells the tape? Why not just ask him what he wants for it? If it´s doable why not try to collect money. He gets his money which he seems to need cause why put this up like that and then say "everything is for sale" and we get the songs. After ripping the tape put it up at some auction and donate the money or make a live4ever party  or whatever. |

It's probably a tune that Noel didn't think was worth continuing on....and really another Noel sung acoustic song is not truly exciting.
Also if The Beatles anthologies ain't THAT exciting...how much would an Oasis one amount to?

I can live without another 'Talk tonight' type song...as much as I like them. Knowing another Bring it On Down/My Big mouth/Morning Glory type song was still out there and that I'd never hear it would drive me mad!
