Glasto 2004 wasn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Seriously, this is fine. Not his best but there’s very little wrong with the performance.

Glasto 2004 wasn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It had some bad moments, but overall it's ok. Supersonic slowed down, Columbia with the original intro and Wonderwall were good. Dont know why they did SCYHO, Liam sounds awful there. My unpopular opinion: Zak was a worse drummer for Oasis than Tony.

His drumming at Glastonbury is plodding and basic and tbh ruins the show, but when they went on tour properly the following year he was brilliant.

I remember that the DBTT songs were ok (of course) but his stlye of drumming didn't fit the old ones.

I wish Liam had better lung capacity post 1998 In contrast to the prevailing opinion that wishes he had worse lung capacity?

But im not a fan of the electric wonderwall Version anyway

My unpopular opinion is that I like Don't Believe The Truth, the problem for me is that the recording/production is rubbish.

The songs are there but the recording and production is too rough. Nothing wrong with production that is a bit unpolished but DBTT is a little too unpolished. I wish all of the songs on the album had the type of production that Turn Up the Sun and The Importance of Being Idle have. Those are the two most well-produced songs on the album and are a model of how each of the songs should've produced like, especially Love Like a Bomb. It has a nice piano solo and acoustic guitar melody but the vocals are atrocious.

Liam's 2000-2002 voice is superior to 1995-1997.

I also think 2017-present is better than his pre 2000 voice. (Apart from the gigs where his voice was completely shot)

(Apart from the gigs where his voice was completely shot) You have the Carnation cover that was done in '99, as well as the bulk of recording for SOTSOG. As for live performances, they had a mini US tour around that time:
Gritty, broding, still hitting the notes as well. I love many things about Liam's 90s voice, whether the youthful one of 1993-1994, or the iconic one of 1995-1997, (the late BHN tour version from '98 isn't good imo).

I was at that Y100 Philadelphia Show. First gig ever with new lineup featuring Gem and Andy. Was so fired up. Was disappointed the set was 5 songs (was thinking it would be 7-8). I also didn’t expect a Helter Skelter cover. So not needed. Couldn’t believe Noel passed up DLBIA. Particularly with a USA market that knew the song. Don’t think I ever bothered to look this up on YouTube. Wasn’t a thing in 1999.

Noel didn’t write much of the first few records. The Real People Did.

The guitar solos on Live Forever are more melodic than the verses or the chorus.

Even The Realies have said that most of the early material is Noel's and they're cool with that. People need to stop defending people who are not interested in being defended at this point.

Here's two for you all...(these are NGHFB-related):
I absolutely HATE the album version of The Right Stuff, but...I absolutely LOVE the Psychemagik Rework version of it.
I absolutely HATE the album version of Keep on Reaching, but...I absolutely LOVE the Reflex Revision version of it.

I absolutely HATE the album version of Keep on Reaching, but...I absolutely LOVE the Reflex Revision version of it. You're not alone on this one. The album version might as well be fingernails on a blackboard to me. I'd rather listen to Aint Got Muffins/The Nature of Reality on loop then that song. ---- I can dig Keep On Reaching on most days.
