The song with the 2nd greatest acronym after CYSIN?(ICSIN!!): WPTWOTWOMS?
I like it a lot and I think it should have been at least a b-side. It's always better to release a song instead of remix as b-side imo.
I think that this is a song that Noel completely forgot about.
*It's probably the first Oasis song I ever heard because I saw Goal! in 2006 and I played FIFA 06 with Lyla in 2007.

It's an ok song, but kudos to Noel for finally working the f-bomb into one of his tunes instead of reserving them for his interviews.

I was just listening to that yesterday for the first time in a few years. Yeah, it's ok nothing great. The Cast No Shadow remix from that soundtrack is great though.

It definitely fits the style of DBTT.
I'd replace it with A Bell Will Ring (cringe of a song).*
1. Turn Up The Sun 2. Mucky Fingers 3. Lyla 4. Love Like A Bomb 5. The Importance of Being Idle 6. The Meaning Of Soul 7. Guess God Thinks I'm Abel 8. Part of the Queue 9. Keep The Dream Alive 10. Who Put The Weight Of The World On My Shoulders 11. Let There Be Love
*This is assuming no other tracklist changes in this example.
Never thought about it like this before, but that's actually a really good change.

Album track with different, shorter title.

It's also quintessential Noel lyrics. He has a very uncanny way of turning around phrases.
"Who put the lies in the truth that you sold us?" Brilliant.

Also: This is how Let There Be Love should have sounded.
Noel intentionally kept LTBL stripped down. That was a bad move. It's crying out for a big production like with WPTWOTWOMS.

Just curious as I have never been anywhere else in the world where people seem so shocked (genuine or put on I don't know) about those two words

As I don't think it's that great, I would initially go for B-side. However, DBTT has a few songs so awful, I'll go with the option to put it on there. Instead of what song? Oh I don't know, plenty of shite to pick from.

Shoukd have been on DBTT. One of the best songs of that era, hands down.

This is the perfect example of the type of song I feared Noel would write over and over and over again as a solo artist. Glad that didn't happen. Ok tune but nothing special. Kinda generic for Noel.

Let There Be Love is many things but stripped down isn't one of them. The 2000 demo is stripped down. The 2005 demo is stripped down. The studio version is over produced and boring. Too slow.

The album version is incredibly dull though, I've always hated it with a passion.

Even the most foul-mouthed people I know seem to shy away from its use!

I enjoy the song. It's a bit fucking miserable, like a lot of Noel-sung 00s Oasis numbers, but they get away with it, I think. Don't think it could go on Don't Believe The Truth, though, what with Let There Be Love and Keep The Dream Alive already on there.

It's very, very mediocre. Would have fit perfectly on DBTT.
