If Liam gets to level of the vocals on the videos above on the upcoming tour I'll be very happy. He was on fucking fire at the start of the DGSS tour. Can't put much stock in crowd shot videos for sound quality. I think you're grasping at straws in the example department. Soundboard/pro shot gigs seem to tell a different story. Now had you used the live on Letterman videos which if I remember correctly LG sounded really good on, I could possibly agree. Either way, on fire is suspect rating at best. I can personally confirm that Liam sounded fantastic and the best I've ever heard him at the Troxy. Beady Eye were brilliant that night and the crowd were absolutely loving it. This and Noel at TCT 2010 are my two favourite oasis related gigs I've attended.

This is hilarious; I hope Liam tweets back to ridicule Radio X, they're practically asking for it!

If you got to Lennon Gallagher's instagram he just posted a video of him and Gene and Liam is in the background telling them to shut up because he's been working all day and he's exhausted lololol.

The tracks ready to be revisited include D'You Know What I Mean?, My Big Mouth and Don't Go Away. Liam is also said to be rehearsing Stand By Me, Born On A Different Cloud, B-side Listen Up, Bring It On Down (taken from Definitely Maybe) and Whatever.... I have a bad feeling about this. Theres no way he can find the voice to sing DGA. He just dont have it anymore.

Most singers when they get older struggle to hit the notes they used to hit in their younger years but they just get the band to play the song in a lower key, in that pub where Liam sings "Bold" he eventually uses the capo further down so he can hit the falsetto better, all he has to do with some of these old oasis tunes is bring them down a key & not only will he manage to hit the notes, he'll sound a lot better

What are the odds that Liam doesn't actually release any new music this year? Perhaps he's just going out as Liam Gallagher sings Oasis with a few Beady Eye thrown in because he needs a bit of money after the divorce. I'm not sure what confirmed info there has actually been.

That bastard1 is a real pathetic idiot. Must not have a life & prob just liked the attention his bullshit brought. But yeah he seriously needs to release some offical announcements soon because June isn't that far away and we litterly have nothing, nothing! Not even a website or Facebook page, all this anticipation is great and all but we need some dates and more information within the next few weeks max otherwise it's gunna be a real mindfuck as to what's going on

Also just from the view that we need an album at least a good month or so before the festivals, otherwise no one will be familiar with half the set and there's nothing worse than that both for audience and band/singer

Given the hilarious lack of stories NME can come up with, do you really think if they had a journalist at that "rehearsal" they would just keep completely quiet?
It was clearly bullshit when stuff like Stand By Me and Born On a Different Cloud were mentioned. I'd be surprised if he even remembered they existed.
Rock n roll Star, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Live Forever, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova is what we will get. Album in May/June
My opinion btw, not claiming i was at a lunch with Liam in soho or anything

^I think we will get the album sooner. June would be way too late. I think that Stand by Me has a realistic chance.

Your predictions are most likely what we'll get - let's say it's an 11 song album, he'll want to perform them so that gives room for just 6-8 Oasis classics. That doesn't give much room for 'deeper cuts' so he'll bring out the big guns I guess.

As much as I would want him to do his songs, that is the ones he wrote in Oasis, it's not really feasible. He needs immediate interest, and Songbird ain't gonna bring it. He'll need the bigger Oasis tracks. MAYBE he has one "deep cut," but it's completely defensible for Liam not to be thinking about a small group of Oasis fans on a forum, and what they want him to play. Especially because he wasn't satisfied with those same die hard fans' sizes at gigs. It's clear he wants more, and songs that weren't good enough to make an Oasis setlist aren't going to do it.
