Pretty Green need to release a women's range. I'm not asking for a full revamp of their catalogue for us, but a small collection with their most popular items would do me. Seriously, tons of female fans would buy it and it'd save having to trawl the internet for PG clothes that could pass as unisex Yes, PG are making half the money they could be making. |

The letter, organised by the Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting, says: “Unsustainable rates of trophy hunting have caused some populations of Africa’s big cats to decline, while hunting and poaching is outpacing the rate of reproduction of elephants.” “We believe that a global end to trophy hunting is desirable, and that nature tourism is a humane and more effective means of conserving wildlife and supporting local communities. We therefore call on the UK government to commit to halting imports of hunting trophies as a matter of urgency.” Eduardo Gonçalves, from the campaign, said he was surprised by how the issue drew support from so many contrasting personalities. “There somebody for the everyone on the list,” he said. The only mistakes prior the As You Were release to me was having Chinatown as the second track released and the release date itself. Announcing an album 7 months before its release and having a summer tour playing songs that nobody knew maybe wasn't the wisest choice. And having a track like Come Back To Me and use it as a single after the album was out was a huge missed oportunity. But the rest of the promo was brilliant. Wall Of Glass is the perfect lead single. Even when the album was out you could see promos like: AS YOU WERE OUT NOW,AS GOOD AS HE SAID IT WOULD BE. That's fucking great marketing there.

I think all of that still happens regardless of what the second single was. I agree it's only really the first single that matters now. As long as the other singles are complete and utter shit. The original point about how long we had to wait for the album whilst hearing most of the songs live is a good point though. They did this incredible job of it not leaking for so long, yet by the time it did leak we had heard all but Come Back To Me and the bonus songs I believe. There isn't much to be picked out of this marketing campaign though, which is a relief after Beady Eye. I think Noel has to probably redo his approach next time however. |

- 90s nostalgia
- Supersonic was great and portrayed him very well
- Debbie's drive and vision
- Great marketing
- Return of the voice / Hashimoto's diagnosis and management
- Major label deal / access to top quality producers / songwriters
all at the same time.

I yesterday listened to Oasis, Glastonbury 2004 and Liam's "We're gonna live forever!"s just floored me. I love the song, but just that part, that outro, I live for that! Oasis, Liam solo, young Liam, old Liam, ... No wonder that's the part where I fell in with his voice once!

Ok so I read something on here late last night, thought I’d sleep on it, and have decided my work here is done. I could just go but I wanted to explain why. I’ve only been here just a year or so and joined to post snippets of info that I could share.
However I shouldn’t have to see posts tagging me and telling me that I’m going to get their meaty cock and whatever other degrading bullshit it was.
