Mean Mrs. MustardWas this beautiful picture what you wanted to post yesterday? Your link seems to have vanished, maybe he deleted and reposted it later? Dave really has the loveliest smile ever, he always looks so happy and friendly. Aye. That’s a nice one. Look at all the silly old twats commenting below, though. Embarrassing.

Anyone got on any info on the Air Studio recordings? I actually think I prefer them versions more than the album versions. Liam's vocals are really great, obviously touched up but always wondered how they were recorded. Live or in a studio.
Fucking amazing.

I love the live, but still somewhat clean sound of these recordings. Honestly, you could put another rhythm guitar track in the right channel and it'd be perfect to put on an album. The AYW version of Greedy Soul is too soft and pop-y with the acoustic guitars and the louder drums and bassline, instead of how it is here with the electric guitar. Good tune, though. Perfect for Liam, and you can tell that it was one of the tunes that he had more input on. The guitar riff even reminds me a bit of New Year's Day by U2.

It does help too that he looks probably the best since 1997 in that video. I mean, what was going on here?

Rumour has it Angus Young was supposed to join Liam’s band for touring, but he proposed the idea of Liam and the band all wearing school uniforms on stage, so he told him to fuck off. What could’ve been ...

I think Chinatown is one of my favourite songs from the post Oasis era. I know the lyrics are complete nonsense but there's something about the atmosphere of the song and the soaring chorus that's just brilliant. Love putting it on while taking a walk in this cold weather. Top tune.

www.radiox.co.uk/artists/oasis/what-is-songbird-about-lyrics-nicole-appleton/A nice article about "Songbird", taking it further to the un-Happy End, All Saints' "One Strike" and interpreting Liam's "For what it's worth" as an apology, making those three songs a nice, bittersweet relationship trilogy, if you want to see it like that. But, shame on you Radio X, it was not Liam's first song! Justice for "Little James"!

To what extent is Liam's outward attitude a persona?
On the one hand he always seems very outgoing, let's be fucking aving yers, we're gonna take over the fucking world, if you're aving it great, if not fuck off and be a dick, all that. But then in a lot of interviews he seems pretty shy.

I always considered Liam very shy and almost lacking confidence. I think when he was younger he used Drugs and Alcohol to combat that. Looking at him on stage now, he seems so stiff sometimes. When he performs I always notice he looks at someone to almost confirm that he's doing a good job, and he needs that affirmation. Also looking at him in interviews, I think his shyness comes across as arrogance, but I think he's just nervous.

From personal experience... once you step foot on a stage to front a band in front of a crowd everything changes. You are not the same person in that moment. It's almost like an out-of-body experience. It's both incredible and scary. Exhilarating! And I'm a VERY quiet, reserved person normally. I doubt that Liam is much different to this honestly.

Liam/Pretty Green is being sued by a Croatian (I believe) football team for using their crest , or a likeness of their crest, on some of their clothing.
