Just seen my cousin who works in a filming studio in London, he said Liam was there a couple weeks a go doing a shoot, it was his day off so he wasn't sure what he was up to but he said he will find out for me. FFS man! Rules around here since the "live rehearsal report"??!!

A couple of weeks ago was when that video of Gene and Lennon dicking about, with Liam's voice somewhere in the background telling them to leave it out because he'd been "working" all day (sommat like that, anyway, I didn't watch it myself), was uploaded to one of his lad's Instagrams, weren't it? He must've been filming a music video. Can't be long now...

Just spoke to my cousin again on Facebook as I didn't get much chance to speak to him today when I saw him. He says he thinks it was for some magazine photoshoot, Lennon was with him so I thought it might of been a photo shoot for him as he models now but my cousin seems to think it was definitely for Liam. He's not a big fan of Oasis or anything like that so didn't ask many questions but he is back in the studio in a couple of days so I've got him to ask a load of questions regarding what it was for.

I've said it before, but I would love to hear Liam covering "I Wanna Be Your Dog" by The Stooges as much as Noel covering "Back To The Old House" by The Smiths. Just a fan "suggestion", and it'll make even better if these covers are B-sides. As much as I'd love to hear Noel cover more Smiths mimmi, I don't think anyone could ever do justice to that Hatful of Hollow version. Literally nothing on earth could ever come close to that version in my opinion.

It's all become so quiet suddenly on the Liam front, hasn't it? We need some news. Or better yet, some new material.

Stumbled upon this beady eye bootleg on youtube. March 2014. I like it, good setlist with Live Forever and a good performance of Champagne Supernova. Nice extended version of Bring The Light that tour. Start Anew live was something special.

Just to gauge opinion, how good do people honestly think this album is going to be?

Just to gauge opinion, how good do people honestly think this album is going to be? I'd be happy with a strong 7/10. And I'd like at least 2 or 3 big songs that deserve to be played on the radio to push it along commercially. Given his previous efforts I think we'd be naïve to expect much better than that. If he can deliver an 8/10 record I'd be surprised. I'd love him to prove me and everybody wrong. Whatever happens I think the tour will be immense.

Just to gauge opinion, how good do people honestly think this album is going to be? The thing that's exciting is that I have no idea. It could be a total disaster, it could be decent, it might be somewhere in the middle. I have no expectations but I'm not bothered about big singles. People talk about singles on here like Liam is 21 ultimately a strong album will bring back a lot of those casual Oasis fans who want to and see him live knowing its going to be a strong set with some old favourites.

I'm looking forward to Liam's interviews as much as his new music. Love his sense of humour and he's always good for a quote!

All I'm hoping for is 2-3 great songs on a decent album and I'll be happy. The most exciting part for me is hearing the voice again, it's been far to long!
I just want Liam to look back on this album cycle and deem it a success, he's been through a rough few years, I really want him to do well.

I'd be depressed and sad if it doesn't do well, but if he goes in a outdated, Lennon 60s direction, then he'll have no one else to blame but himself!

1 great song. 3-4 decent/average tunes. The rest absolute dross.

Poor Liam, he thinks this album is going to blow NGHFB away! Realistically ,in a year he'll be back in the pub during the daytime rambling shite about Noels new tour on Twitter and 2 stone heavier.

I think you may be right sadly, although the two saving graces at the moment are we haven't actually heard any of the music so there is always the possibility it will be better than anyone thinks, and secondly this time around at least he is doing it under his own recognisable name rather than a new band not known from the outset outside more devoted fans and the music press. I do hope your wrong to be honest (no offence) but I think this will be make or break for him musically, and if it doesn't work out then barring the oft discussed cash in reunion happening he may well withdraw from music and concentrate on other areas of his life.

Yeah, I hope it's a great record but nothing he's done so far gives me much hope. He's written a few decent tunes but most are half finished ideas at best that don't really go anywhere. He seems driven by his inferiority complex of Noel which is fair enough but he may have been better off ploughing his efforts into other other business opertunities. Anyway, it'll be interesting to hear what it sounds like it and I'm looking forward to it.

Worst case scenario is:
(a) He lip synchs Definitely Maybe by walking on stage, plugging in a CD player and pressing play (b) Aggrieved at the lack of reception his new tunes are getting live, he slips into a pair of hotpants and starts twerking (c) Desperately records a duet album with Michael Buble
Reality is, if the album doesn't do well, the album doesn't do well. I'm sure the fans will dig seeing him perform live again though, and most certainly if he's performing Oasis songs.

Paul Weller did something remarkably similar at the last 'The Style Council' gig including coming on stage day glo shorts with choreographed dance steps! Going on what I've read on fan forums, media reports, etc. from people who were there the audience reaction was less than positive...(Pics originally from Steve Hoffman TV )
