Worst case scenario is: (a) He lip synchs Definitely Maybe by walking on stage, plugging in a CD player and pressing play (b) Aggrieved at the lack of reception his new tunes are getting live, he slips into a pair of hotpants and starts twerking(c) Desperately records a duet album with Michael Buble Reality is, if the album doesn't do well, the album doesn't do well. I'm sure the fans will dig seeing him perform live again though, and most certainly if he's performing Oasis songs. Paul Weller did something remarkably similar at the last 'The Style Council' gig including coming on stage day glo shorts with choreographed dance steps! Going on what I've read on fan forums, media reports, etc. from people who were there the audience reaction was less than positive...(Pics originally from Steve Hoffman TV )  That's awesome.  |

Quick update on the photo shoot Liam was involved in at my Cousins work - He was in yesterday but his bosses weren't so was unable to find much out, he asked a colleague and he seemed to think it was something to do with Pretty Green but wasn't sure. He's going to have a word with his bosses the next time they are in. I'll keep you updated.

Said it before but Stone Roses wannabes- seems to have been cleansed from the net but I still remember that car park shoot for the NME (IIRC) where Liam had sprayed "what the world is waiting for' on one of the walls.... |

I was thinking the other day that 'Pretty Green' must be like their code or something, for activities involving the new album. Remember when Liam was supposed to have shot a video for Pretty Green in Los Angeles, a couple of months ago? In the article, there was even a quote from the 'director' of the shoot, saying how good to work with Liam was... Well, Pretty Green's latest season/range/whatever you call it of clobber launched a month ago or two ago, and there was no sign of Liam in any of the promotional stuff.

Realistically what are the chances Liam has written 2-3 songs better than his best "songbird, I'm outta time... For this album..
Has he had an epiphany..
Did he have a wave of writing...
Did he get a ghost writer..
Did he have some saved that needed some work for example "show me your love"
Has he had the talent all along and just needed a challenge to let it out...
I'm fascinated to see what happens...And who here thinks Bold(what we have heard in the pub) is a good or bad sign of what's to come... I'm undecided at this point..

Liam Gallagher is probably the last rockstar made of pure testosterone. I don't care if he doesn't sound the same as he used to -- idk why people keep whining about it! --, he's a living legend, he can do whatever he wants . I hope he gets back that savage confidence he used to have, so he can make music great again. In an age where Rag 'N' Bone is on the cover of NME, having Liam Gallagher back will certainly bring some fresh air. I can't wait for his solo album. |
