Why aren't people all over this? I really hope that Liam will have a small hit with one of his songs, like Noel had with WAL. I'm not expecting him to be all over the charts, become a global superstar and make an album that becomes a timeless classic... But a decent album with at least one song that earns him some success on his own, that would be amazing.

Ok we are now almost in march, so i guess we can expect something in June at the earliest now.
Too bas coz right there's almost no big release, it would have given Liam a lot of press.

If the plan is to release it some time in June then surely a first single cant be far away? First single mid March, 2nd single in May then the album drops in June. Seems a reasonable time frame if that's the way he's planning on doing things.

All depends on how many singles he wants to get out before the album. Like I've said before, I think he should go down the route of the album coming out a couple weeks after the first single so he can ride the buzz around that but I think we will see the more conventional way of a couple singles before the album.

That means we are approaching 4 years since we last heard a new track sung by Liam. This is the longest we have ever had to wait for new material.

I hope he doesn't shovel shite onto the album like Beady Eye did just because it was faster paced (Beatles and Stones, Standing on the Edge of the Noise, Face the Crowd) at the expense of better songs (World Outside My Room, Evil Eye, Off at the Next Exit).

I've said it before, but I would love to hear Liam covering "I Wanna Be Your Dog" by The Stooges as much as Noel covering "Back To The Old House" by The Smiths.
Just a fan "suggestion", and it'll make even better if these covers are B-sides.

OK, we've been lucky to get a double dose of Gallagher albums since the break up. Missing some of the voice though, Noel cuts the mustard, don't get me wrong. It's hard to explain Edit: Kermit being raped by a chainsaw still gets me going, baby. That's better than most of the dirge I hear on the tv an radio these days anyway. Just seen my cousin who works in a filming studio in London, he said Liam was there a couple weeks a go doing a shoot, it was his day off so he wasn't sure what he was up to but he said he will find out for me.
