if the album isnt landing until june or even the autumn then hes not going to be announcing anything new until closer the time, the earliest we will hear something will be March and even that could be optimistic.

The only useful thing that nutjob bastard has done is to discredit other fansites over the internet who claimed it as their own!

Some time before Christmas, my guy, whose son is supposedly very pally with Debbie Gwyther, told me it was being mastered for a second time. He's a good bloke and only a very casual Oasis fan, so likely wouldn't be aware of this peculiar new trend for fans going to great lengths to convince fellow fans they have inside info when they don't, just because reasons. 

However, it's also worth noting that just prior to Liam signing a record deal and doing all that stuff we've heard about in the last few months, he had no idea Liam planned to make music while he was still having to give half of everything he earns to Nicole. (I don't think he's in Liam's 'inner circle' exactly: from what he's told me, he's got pissed up a few times, watching City games from Liam's box at the Etihad, but about as intimate as their acquaintance has got is him drunkenly singing Roll With It at Liam once. ) So it could be possible that the thing's been put back since then and my guy doesn't know about it yet. He said his lad heard it in full as it was before they went back to the mastering. He's in more regular contact with Liam, I think. If only I could get at him... 

Depends on the album, but mastering should require a couple of weeks.

With every comb through with an album you tend to find different things. Youd be surprised how many things can come up or don't get noticed until the last second.

Usually, by the time you hit the mastering stage, even if some bit need to be re-recorded, it would only be a bit of mop up work, and it wouldn't affect the mixing of other tracks. Unless, in the unlikely event that something was wrong with each track, which with session musicians is highly unlikely, and even in that case, you would still have a baseline mix so it wouldn't be that difficult to incorporate any new recording to the mix.

Long of the short of it, even a slight re recording shouldn't set you back more than 3-4 weeks.

But if they were mastering for a second time, it means that they didn't like the treatment on the first pass through, and decided to go with another. It's not really an indication that something was re recorded (Just that they didn't like how some instruments were coming through, from a listening standpoint, so to speak). Though, some albums go through multiple treatments until the artist is satisfied. So nothing out of the ordinary, honestly.
