If he's in LA watching Lennon vids, then Liam probably thinks he's having his 'lost weekend'. Like Lennon had in LA 1973-1974 when he seperated from Yoko & recorded his Rock N Roll album. It was actually one of three LP's released during his marital problems and subsequent affair with May Peng, the latter at Yoko's own suggestion, an 18 month period of living in Peng's NY apartment and a rented home in LA. The other two LP's were firstly Mind Games then Walls & Bridges- Classic Rock- John Lennon's Lost Weekend Revisited
Going on this I fully expect a poorly received debut solo LP from Liam Gallagher, followed by a sophomore with his only chart topping single then an album of Britpop covers. During this time he will have an unlikely drinking companion in Pete Doherty, whose latest solo album in the face of the collapse of The Libertines will be produced by Liam, with both men ejected and banned from the BBC's 'Live At The Apollo' for heckling Michael McIntyre mercilessly whilst under the influence. He will also reconcile with Noel Gallagher in a star studded recording session that also features Pete, Chris Martin, Jay Z and Beyonce with disappointing results, leading the brothers to remain on friendly terms but never record together again. Finally Liam will do a disappearing act for five years where no one in the business will be able to get hold of him

I mean everyone does at some point over there, right?

Maybe Liam will start a feud with Taylor Swift too some time soon. Now that's a trainwreck I would pay to watch.

I mean, more like the Taylor/Kimye thing going on right now. Like, Liam would say something totally uneducated and silly about her, kinda like the Noel = potato thing and every single Swiftie would come to her rescue and Liam would get pissed that people keep throwing eggs at his house and then he will say something else about her. Then she would come out with some thing like "who are you anyway" and all the Oasis fans would be like "UM LADY OASIS IS LIKE THE BEST BAND EVER EDUCATE URSELF" and so on and on and on...

Why what's N'Golo Kanté been saying? He should be focusing on preseason no?

Why what's N'Golo Kanté been saying? He should be focusing on preseason no? He's getting disgruntled messages from Leicester City fans lurking on the Sunderland AFC threads ATM, saying they are going to boo him on his return to King Power Stadium 'cos he "Didn't stay another season so we can announce a 60,000 odd capacity stadium and prove we are turning into one of the big clubs!"

The 'troubador' thing is a little dig at Richard Ashcroft for some reason.

This confirms his return to music, right? Be Here Now remaster & Supersonic documentary in october, so they're out of the way by 2017, making place for a Liam Gallagher album release.
