please help me with my english. Is "mesmerised" being surprised in a good or a bad way? From the Oxford English Dictionary:- Mesmerise:- Capture the complete attention of (someone); transfix: they were mesmerized by his story (as adjective mesmerizing) a mesmerizing stare IT doesn't necessarily mean surprised, more that someone or something was able to, as the definition says, completely capture the attention of a subject. Noel really going after Liams voice these days. Liams voice is as awful as it was in 06. It even might had gotten better in this last two years of rest. Seems noel is starting to get upset with Liams lame basic potato attack. I hope people start calling him potato at his gigs, or even better, throw potatoes at him. |

Liams voice is as awful as it was in 06. depends, 06 was his worst year imo, the festival run like T in the park 2013 were probably up there with 06 with being really poor but overall it comes down to Liam not being able to tour much anymore really, after a few shows hes done, Id probably say his voice is in better shape now than it was in those last few years of oasis though. I wouldnt say compare say Argentina 06 with my generation of 2014 cause one was after a long tour while the other was after beady eye split and did nothing for X amount of months. some of those later beady eye gigs were the best hes sounded since about 2002 in some cases. |

apologies I took that quote off a recent NME article about ryan adams, no mention of it being old without clicking on the link. www.nme.com/news/oasis/95049still though, people said he never mentioned his voice much before now, seems theres been a few snipes along the way. |
