Ok this tweet was silly but how much I can't stand the hypocrite tone of some people who better put their own house in order before saying anything. The hypocrisy of a world where anyone is indigned by a tweet (as silly it might be) but where approximatly 2300000 others things, way worse, are going under the radar.
I'd better be indigned by people who have tones of process behind them and who are dirigeants of countries, if you know what I mean ?
All of that makes me think of something: Liam should stop with these shitty tweets, stop with this shitty twitter and do something (I don't know producing a new band ? Collaborate with some artists ? Whatever).

But it had nothing to do with what happened in Orlando? I don't get why the PC brigade has to get all offended about it. Not gonna bother arguing with someone who uses the term 'PC brigade', sorry. It's beneath me. There's nothing to argue about.

Maybe he learns something from that, which would be at least a good outcome to this mess. Actually, I'm still puzzled how Noel got away last year with calling One Direction "c...suckers". Maybe he went under the radar because it was not on twitter? I found it utterly bizarre that he was not called out for that, but caught a shitstorm for making fun of skaters or German Rap. I super cringed at that. Horrible.

Noel actually got called out for it and was hevily insulted on social medias Very true. Don't know where this is coming from. Noel was also called out for his comments. By people on this forum and on twitter. If Noel were to make the same comment as Liam at this very moment, it would receive even more backlash now. And deservedly so. Funny how short dome people's memories are.

It's like someone said a few pages back, can you imagine if Liam did this today... ?! There'd be absolute uproar! Jonah Hill got slagged off and had to go on a chat show to "wholeheartedly apologise" after he snapped out with "faggot!" or something, at a pap who followed him around a whole town block, taking the piss, so heaven knows what would've happened to Liam. Young Sebastian on Twitter (@sebbbbbbbz_123) would want a few words with him, no doubt! In Liam's defence though (well, sort of), the guy did say "No problem, blad!" And that's enough to rile anybody. Never mind someone with the temper Liam has.

^^ It's a shame that video's so heavily edited down really. In the original one, it cuts from Peggy saying "The Liam I know is a really nice, polite young man" back to Liam getting in that guy's face going "And I'll wack(?) your fucking arse, man!" Naughty, to take Peggy's interview out of context like that. But funny as well.

Uea, but the same could be said of Liam. If Liam said the same thing three weeks ago it would not have blown up. However, if Noel has said the same thing he said a few months ago today, it would blow up as much as Liam has. It has more to do with the atmosphere/timing of the quote than the person saying it.

Uea? As stated above I still think it's a mix of timing and the person saying it. Nobody has provided any evidence that Noel got called out for his homophobic comment in real, rather than social, media.

Liam's voice blew my mind during my childhood and continues to.
No voice compares, at all.
Passion, anger, raw emotion, a million experiences rolled into one voice.
Thanks.

Christ on a bike. What a load of overly sensitive 'cock suckers' you are all being. He didn't tweet about the Orlando shooting. For goodness sakes. What he said was pretty funny, I thought - it was a light hearted joke about the Russian hooligans. Not once did he mention the Orlando shootings. YOUR BRAINS did that.

'Cocksuckers' was meant as a dig at One Direction's lives within the music industry. It's got nothing to do with being gay.

Uea? As stated above I still think it's a mix of timing and the person saying it. Nobody has provided any evidence that Noel got called out for his homophobic comment in real, rather than social, media. And no one will. Which is the problem. If Liam had said this a few weeks ago we probably wouldn't have links up detailing him making a slur. It would have been contained to social media just as Noel's was. You're saying it's down to environment but in your point, ignoring the environment. You can't point toward a bunch of links in a different environment and say, well no one has provided links for Noel when the reason is precisely because his event occured in a different environment. It's a paradox. That's like me saying, well no one got on Liam for making planes crashing into building jokes before 9/11, while people are for Noel after 9/11. And no one has provided links to the contrary, therefore, it's down to the person and environment. Well no, I can't prove that it's down to the person because it's an environemt that didn't exist prior to the initial person's comments. Therefore, a paradox. So, you can keep waiting on links but they aren't going to be provided. And it's an inconclusive at best if they are not provided.
