... checking IMDB who Steven Moffat is... I've never watched Doctor Who. Damn, I've never even watched Rocky! Bollocks to Rocky. But Doctor Who is must watch television. And I'll leave it up to my eloquent young friend, The Escapist to tell you why... Right, well, ok, there's this geezer, yeah? Well...he's not a geezer, but he's like one, but, like, not really. So, anyway, he's got this box, right? And it's small - but, like, massive. Like the size of entire dimension - but, like, really small. Oh yeah, and he's really old, and usually he's with quite young women, but that's ok, and that, 'cos he's sometimes young too, whilst being old. Oh right, yeah - and he travels in time and gets into like, 45 minute adventures which may or may not have actually happened, and probably didn't happen in the order it looks like. He always wins, but when he loses, and dies, he turns into someone else - well, not someone else, but not him. Still him though. And he's the last of his kind, except for when he's not. Also Daleks.

So, what's Liam's beef with Iberia Airlines?
They're not Australian so I don't see the issue.

In fairness it's an Oasis thing, not a Manchester thing- both the brothers may do historical revision at times but during that era Noel moved to London via Johnny Marr's flat then his own place pretty much as soon as they got signed, whilst Liam stayed on at the family home until he moved in with Patsy Kensit in London. Using the city or town your from is fine, but it isn't the most important aspect of the documentary or for my money the Oasis story. The music scene in Manchester undoubtedly influenced Oasis but by the same token it did other bands not from that city. I think if I was being cynical it's partly an older brother enjoying winding his younger brother up, who in turn is happy to kick off about almost anything these days. The point of the film is to document the rise of a band from an almost baseless fantasy ("We want to be the biggest band in the world") to self mythologising to fact inside a circa three year period- That story had a lot to do with London, Manchester and all around the world (pun intended) so what matters is it does a the story justice, not where it premieres. P.S. That bellend Russell Brand can at least turn up London just to remind everyone he still exists and knows famous people, preaching his hypocritical political views and undoubtedly hawking his books as well...ah there's something to look forward to.... just when I thought I like you..... LOL just kidding.... for ME (and prolly Liam as well haha) Oasis is a Manchester thing...... doesn't matter where you do live now, or where you lived at the time, it's where it started and where you are from..... but I do get your point as well...... LOL regarding Russel Brand...... what is he famous for anyways... marrying Katy Perry? Back when Big Brother was massive in the UK, Brand hosted one of the side panel shows. And tbf did a great job. That's what got him famous here.

Russell's old radio shows with Matt Morgan are absolutely hilarious IMO. I remember laughing violently at their chemistry when I first heard them. To be honest, I thought he might have changed since those days in the late 00's, becoming somehow more egotistical and less down-to-earth with his political projects - but when he came back with those podcasts last year I was happy to discover that - unlike another certain comedy personality (How's the Netflix career going, Ricky?) - Russell hasn't changed a bit, for better or for worse. Really though, he needs Matt to come across as likeable to people other than his proper fans. When he's with Matt, he's a lot more self-depreciating and relaxed, which makes him funnier and infinitely less annoying.

So, what's Liam's beef with Iberia Airlines? They're not Australian so I don't see the issue. Maybe he's referring to the way IAG treated their workforce when the British Airways/Iberia formed group began laying off staff after the 2011 merger which hit the Spanish hardest- 4,600 layoffs at Iberia since 2012- FT and he's showing his support for the workers. Alternatively he's had a bad experience on the airline and reacted a bit more calmly than he did with Cathay Pacific- btw they aren't Australian either they are based in Hong Kong- BBC 1998- Oasis singer banned by airline
