Probably old news now but i reckon this is pretty conclusive: Gallagher also suggested that there is a David Bowie influence on his new music. After recently naming his favourite Bowie songs, Noel has also admitted that one of the new songs borrows from Bowie's 'The Jean Genie'. "I've nicked a little bit of that," Gallagher said. "The 'woo-hoo!'. You'll hear that sooner or later in one of my tracks." www.nme.com/news/noel-gallagher/91148

the new album is entirely new songs id be very surprised if no songs are "old", I wouldnt be surprised to see this considering Noel said "when it does get released it will be one of my best"

Doesn't say it's not a b-side/bonus track though. I'd be OK with that, but I'm 99% sure Noel wouldn't let a track that mediocre on an album.

Never heard that song before. I think it sounds alright actually. Decent b-side / album filler. I like hearing Noel doing something a bit different with his voice.

yeah i dont get the hate its very 'leave my guitar alone' / 'here's a candle' (which i do have love) in a lord dont slow my down style.. Obv never gonna be a main song but as theyknowwhatimean says at least it's something different with a bit of texture

I like the song but its definitely Bside material. Releasing that on the new album is just asking to be criticised for being overly derivative. It's one thing when you're young and facing the world head on with your record, its quite another when you're nearly 50. Noel's full of ideas and creative inspiration, no need to pull so directly from others.

Holy fuck, this is shit. It's LDSMD mixed with Mucky Fingers.
But whereas those two songs are solid, this is proper shit.

If that really appears on the album, it'll be what's called an insta-skip

You're all daft! It's great. Should've been on an album already. Noel doesn't often sound like he's having fun on a track. He does on this one.

But safe to say, with him recording in Peckham, you will probably get the more miserable and driven (to get it finished and get out of there) Noel you want.
