As much as i don't mind this song and admire the Dylan vibe and alL... If this or any song like that is gonna be on his next record it's gonna be a big mistake. I hope this one is gonna be the final cut from releasing songs that are on you tube for a decade... It doesn't work. The records are losing it's value when you do shit like that. When i saw the tracklist for HFB #1 i thought it's some kind of a sad joke that i know half of the album already. And the talk about die hard fans who wait for the record and never check the leaked stuff is nonsense itself. We all know it. Die hard fan would kill for a new unreleased song. It's 2016, you put something on the internet, all your fans know it 2 days later.
I prefer a 4/10 shit song that i've never heard before than a 8/10 single that i heard 3 years ago. Remember that Morning Glory record that sold 100 bilion copies or whatever it was which even the band never fuckin' heard until they got to the studio ? That seemed like a right attitude, stick to it. I worked back then.

Most of Radiohead's album "In Rainbows" was on youtube in live form 1-2 years before being officially released and that album is now a masterpiece in their catalogue. Goes both ways.

Depends on the quality of the song and the end result. And honestly, it's not Noel's fault that some of his songs have made it onto the web. No reason to let good songs fall by the waste side. I have more of an issue with his treatment of those songs on his albums, than the use of the songs.

The first versions I heard of TDOTL, Freaky Teeth, and Revolution Song were the final versions.

She must be One of us is a good filler song, i wouldn't mind if it was on the record, that would mean a very raw and rock n roll record, i like that. Noel tends to overproduce.
But it shouldn't be one of the lead tracks, of course.

B-side written all over it. It's such a Dylan pastiche, I don't mind it, but it's not album material.

it sounds so much like bob dylan i cant take it seriously, it just comes across as a parody of his highway 61 album.

Holy fuck, this is shit. It's LDSMD mixed with Mucky Fingers. But whereas those two songs are solid, this is proper shit. i like both of those tunes so i guess that must be one of the reasons why i like this one. i don't get all the hate on here for this track? and to me it leans more towards dylan than bowie, but then again what the hell do i know?

I like both LDSMD and Mucky Fingers, but this is such a huge piece of shit which should never even be near any of Noel's albums, singles, B-sides etc.
God I hate it, if I hadn't made that clear yet in the few years I've been here.

That song is just Noel having a bit of fun at Dylan's expense. There's no way it will appear in its current form on the next album or any other one for that matter unless Noel reverts to his HC-era self and totally runs out of original ideas. The only way it could be used is if it were heavily rewritten.
The song is truly a piece of crap and a serious contender for the worst Noel Gallagher tune.

Awful, awful song. I hope it's neither an a side or a bside/bonus track on any future album he ever makes.

You're all daft! It's great. Should've been on an album already. Noel doesn't often sound like he's having fun on a track. He does on this one. When Noel 'has fun' we get shit like Dream On and The Mexican. Bitch, please. Beady, The Mexican is the best thing on that album! Dream On is rubbish though. When he starts pilfering Aerosmith song titles it's time for a re-think. The Mexican redeemed him. Who calls a song The Mexican? That's bonkers. You're just confused is all. A custard enema will put you right. I'm serious. Get cracking you twit!

I'd be totally fine if this was a b-side or a bonus track. I know it's a fun, throwaway song and that's fine.

Its nowhere near his worst song in my opinion. Reading the comments here I sort of hope its the opening track on the album and the lead single.

She Must Be One of Us is to Highway 61 Revisited what Piggy in the Middle is to I Am the Walrus.

Lack of melodies. I have absolutely no problem with Noel doing Dylan, if he does it good.

It's almost as bad as Oh Lord. Jumping up and down like a toad. Fuck off, Noel.

It's almost as bad as Oh Lord. Jumping up and down like a toad. Fuck off, Noel. She Must Be One of Us, for all its faults, is still far better than Oh Toad. At least Noel's enjoying himself on SMBOOU (is that the worst 'Oasis' acronym ever? I think so!) and its reminsicent of older light tunes like She's Electric, Bonehead's Bank Holiday and of course Digsy's Dinner. With Oh Toad, you just don't know what to think. The middle instrumental bit is decent but otherwise it has no redeeming qualities.

While it sounds cool, it just does not fit in, and the song begs for a more stripped back approach in the production, but once you strip it down, it sounds like Noel doing "Love Like a Bomb".

Probably old news now but i reckon this is pretty conclusive: Not sure what makes this "conclusive"
