Alternate BE tracklisting:
Flick of the Finger Second Bite of the Apple Iz Rite Soul Love Soon Come Tomorrow Face the Crowd Off at the Next Exit I'm Just Saying Back After the Break Evil Eye Start Anew
I'd rank this higher than both of Liam's solo albums tbh.

Don't Brother Me is brilliant - the outro is bliss. Listen to the 42:42 remix as well. Listening back to DGSS for some reason and it was a mediocre album that's aged like milk. Beatles and Stones/Wind Up Dream is as bad a one-two as you'll find anywhere.
If I had to salvage something from this I'd say cut it to 10 songs and ffs get a producer who doesn't make it sound like Ocean Colour Scene. Even then you're not looking at a good album.
Four Letter Word Millionaire The Roller Bring the Light For Anyone In a Bubble With a Bullet Wigwam Three Ring Circus The Best Goes On The Morning Son
Honestly, I loved seeing them live but listening to this is really tough going.

Beady Eye were terrible. Not surprising really obviously, it's an album full of LAG tunes. Everything bad about Noughties Oasis albums in a band together.

BE's mostly alright and there's a few songs that I think stand up. But there's a lot of total shit.

9 years since my first concert, Beady Eye in Toronto-also my most wasted opportunity missing out on Gem signing my Heavy Stereo record because of my overprotective auntie. Other than that, grand old time. I just wish I got a better mic for the gig.

The 'Wigwam' live performances were fucking amazing The 2011 T in the park performance has to be the best live version of it. The rest sound dreadful.

Blackpool is in a tier if it's own for Beady Eye performances, the only one I keep going back to which is a testament to his voice for that gig compared to the rest.

Blackpool and Lowlands are god tier. Blackpool is in a tier if it's own for Beady Eye performances, the only one I keep going back to which is a testament to his voice for that gig compared to the rest. Seriously. All of the songs sound way better than they do on record (The Beat Goes On, Two of a Kind, For Anyone, In a Bubble..., in particular) and each song has at least a few good aspects to it (Ex: Kill for a Dream's outro solo). This has the best performances of In a Bubble... and The Morning Son too, and I commend them for playing all originals (minus Sons of the Stage). Liam's on good form both with his singing and being a frontman, Andy is stellar on lead guitar (how the hell was he only a bassist during the Oasis days?!), and everyone sounds tight to make the songs really come alive. I wish they had recorded DGSS live in the studio because I think it would've come across better than what they did. I can't stand that awful retro production on DGSS that prevented the good, rocking tunes from coming across clearly like they do in live performances like the Blackpool gig.

I always loved Wigwam in 2013 early on when they brought the horns out for the end, that was a great addition-also I love seeing Gem play his heart out here

Loved Wigwam live. The studio version never ever sat right for me. Doesnβt sound as epic. Sounds tinny at the start.

I think Beady Eye made some good music & it wasn't all bad. OK songs like Beatles & Stones or Wind Up Dream for example aren't that great. But they had some good tunes like Flick Of The Finger, Four Letter Word, Soul Love, Shine A Light ( I don't get the hate for that)& then there were songs like World Outside My Room etc. They weren't all bad.

I love Wigwam and I don't mind the album version but yes the live version is better. But that song and The Morning Son are Liam's best songs on Different Gear Still Speading for me.
