One of the few Beady Eye performances that I keep going back to, best performance of that era imo.
The high pitched 'WOAH's are unparalleled.

Listened Different Gear, Still Speeding today front to back for the first time in years. Was better than I remembered it.
Good Four Letter Word Millionaire The Roller Bring the Light Wigwam The Morning Son
Average Beatles and Stones For Anyone The Beat Goes On
Awful Kill for a Dream Standing on the Edge of the Noise
Should have never been written Wind up Dream
Add In the Bubble with a Bullet, World Outside My Room and Sons of the Stage and you have a good album. Is it true that Evil Eye was around during these sessions? Another missed chance.
Still, this album is a bigger departure from Oasis than Noel with his cosmic pop trash (and I don't mean the quality in songwriting)

Agree 100% My redux version swaps out the same songs and I have the extended opening version of Beatles & Stones in there as well. Pretty good album indeed.

I think this is better than the album version

I think this is better than the album version By far. Andy was the most held back by Oasis and BDI. Many of his songs were clearly put in a Beatlesque/Oasis-like box, like Kill for a Dream, The Beat Goes On, and Keep the Dream Alive (those "Na na na"s oof).

I might actually be the only one here, but I unironically like the Shine a Light MV. Not only is it funny, but it’s surprisingly fitting for the song too, and on top of all this, it’s very professionally executed. Love it.

Just appreciating how good the acoustic version of I'm Just Saying sounds.

Is it BE like Beady Eye or BE as in 'be'? As far as I recall reading about it (or I heard it on an interview or something) its pronounced "BE" like bumblebee

If I remember correctly, Liam said it was BE for a bee, BE for Beady Eye, BE as in it could BE whatever you want it to be, a la Noel when he often explains Champagne Supernova's meaning as not really mattering because it means something different for any one of the thousands of people he often plays it to.

A great song. I still listen to Beady Eye and wear Pretty Green to this day. Always dug the PG jackets. Cool styles and reasonable prices compared to their other products.

Who was the bassist who played live with Beady Eye in 2011, anyone know? I take it he was only a touring member as he is not credited on the first album via liner notes.

Man Of Misery is cool Liam rocker. But I didn't find any interviews about it. Liam didn't mention any backstory of this song, did he?

After DGSS and Millionaire single release? Or did they just release re-recording and left it without... well, any story?

Douse this with a thick delay and reverb atop several cascading layers of distorted guitars, with Andy's voice it'd sound like a passable Ride tune.
