Keep coming back to this vid...Liam is an animal esp from 3.00 onwards...and interesting to see Jay in this line up lol this is brilliant. Liam looking cool as fuck too, might be the first time I've seen him do a gig in a t-shirt January 2014 - voice is strong - no Kermit - looking fit as fuck - seems unlikely doesn’t it that he was ever gonna strap on the gold Speedo’s and slink off quietly to Spain

I still listen to Beady - especially love live takes of Wigwam , Sons Of The Stage & The Morning Son. I don't and never have, hated on Bring The Light, Millionaire, etc...it's just rock 'n' roll.
"Dickhead down in the front - don't be throwin' ya beer up here 'cause we got loads a things up here - yeah and it busts and then we gotta go home. Y'know what I mean? So just keep yer drinks to yerself - ya fookin' Belgian"

Liam was right - Jeff Wootton did some fantastic bass work on "BE"... and then he left the band, the fucking nutter!

In The Bubble With A Bullet is a tune, always reminded me of something off Every Picture Tells A Story or Gasoline Alley

I wish Liam would re-record Evil Eye with his current voice.

Back After The Break is such a tune. All those bonus tunes were some high watermarks for the band.

I thought stepping into the Beady Eye section would be like entering Myspace and seeing all the fucking tumbleweed blowing around. Nice to see some people still digging the tunes.

Heard Flick of the Finger on a recent episode of The Apprentice the other day. Forgot how great that tune is.

flick of the finger is a TUNE Dare I say in the top 3, best post Oasis songs? Monster of a tune and underrated, chorus or no chorus. In terms of DGSS, I still buzz off of the live versions of Wigwam (Blackpool) and Bring The Light (Lowlands and T In The Park with the 'BE' tour outro) Gave both albums a listen over the last month and Andy Bell's lyrics get worse and worse each time, was nearly sick during Soon Come Tomorrow!

I saw Beady Eye twice on the DGSS tour and once on the BE tour, and the first two were up there with the best gigs I've ever been to.
I'm glad it's worked out the way it did but it's a shame they ended on such a damp squib.
Between the two albums they probably had about an albums worth of really good songs. Flick of the Finger, Four Letter Word and The Morning Son are great songs.
The rest is dross mind.

"Standing On The Edge Of The Noise" is a good song, I don't understand why people don't like it.

Noel said David Holmes threw out about 20 choruses he had written for The Man Who Built The Moon. Anyone else wish we had a time machine so we could go back and give all those binned choruses to Beady Eye? "Choruses? Where we're going, we don't need choruses."

Wow, he doesn’t hold back. ‘The rest of the band (BE) were all Yes Men’ ‘Liam’s the family man who looks after mum and the fat brother’ 😂 Cheers for posting. Enjoyed hearing about the Stones too and how he made their worst album until their next one!
