I really don't like what he did with Champagne Supernova. But I understand why people like it so much. I hope he won't play it again.

It's a bit blah, but it's sort of the big crowd pleaser everyone can sing along to. I'd have Champagne Supernova over Whatever, Wonderwall, Talk Tonight and IGTBF anytime though! Anyway...N0L3, P1AY M0RN1NG GL0R3hH!!!11!

I loved it, it was one of the highlights of the tour in my opinion. And when you have hundreds of people around you singing their lungs out it becomes a truly epic moment. Wow.

My only memory of this is seeing my mother getting carried out of the audience and being taken away right in front of Noel and Noel looking all confused.

Not the best memory, I agree When I saw Noel in March I did enjoy it but my mind was elsewhere on that night. Also, I was quite far from the stage and during Champagne Supernova I had a guy on my left vigorously kissing two girls at once, hitting me with his elbow at the same time At my second gig in July it was a totally different thing. I was in the first row, right in front of Noel, and it was so fucking hot that we were completely wet head to toe even before the gig started. And luckily enough all the morons/beer throwers/etc were far from me. I couldn't hear nor talk properly for two days after that night Fucking epic.

maybe he had a flashback.. we know he was stranded in amsterdam on his own after the 'ferry' incident back in the day (sorry i know must've been not nice situ but rock n roll ) What happened there? Infamous oasis story from early '94, arguably main basis of wibbling rivalry when the band all got arrested (except noel) on the way to the gig in holland and instantly deported so they couldn't do the gig to the 'japanese fuckers from sony' and noel was left in amsterdam 'like a spare prick at a wedding'

Spare prick at a wedding...one of my favourite Oasis turn of phrases.

Happy 1st birthday to Chasing Yesterday! One year later, and it's still quite a good record with some of Noel's best and most experimental works since the SOTSOG days. Here's to hoping that the next record (whenever it comes out) is a great continuation of the ground covered on CY.

Clip from press conference: www.periscope.tv/w/1PlKQgoEaPaJEThis works: noelordie.tumblr.com/page/2 (scroll down a bit) He says he is going to play songs he has never played live before and hopes to do them justice.

List of Oasis songs I'd like to hear which have zero chances of being played: D'You Know What I Mean? Fade In-Out Falling Down Gas Panic! Hello I Hope I Think I Know Morning Glory My Big Mouth Roll It Over Some Might Say Underneath the Sky If he plays any song from this list I'm going round my town fully naked tomorrow morning
