Was this gig on a festival? No. Oh God. He had time enough to rehearse at least one different song.

Oh God. He had time enough to rehearse at least one different song. Not only that, he kept in some of the blegh songs (Dream On, Wonderwall (FFS)) and threw out some of the better live songs (Stranded on the wrong beach, Broken Arrow). Oh well, at least I'm very enthusiastic about Listen Up. I hope he will change it around a bit.

It was an electric version of Listen Up apparently. Noel's playing his brown Nash Telecaster.

Weren't we promised Let's All Make Believe at one point? Listen Up is the only 'suprise' and that was played twice in December. I really hope he throws in a few treats by the time I see him in Bournemouth.

No dying of the light or mighty I, which only were 2 singles off the album.
If I were Noel I would probably be bored out of my brains, playing the same songs every single fucking gig for 300 years.

Even if he only threw in one rarity per country or something it would make the whole tour so much more captivating, I haven't religiously followed a tour since DBTT which was when I first got seriously into Oasis. Its beyond a joke really and shows that he takes his fans for granted. How great would it be to have woken up this morning and learn he'd played Some Might Say for the first time with HFB?

Please Noel keep Listen Up in the festival's setlist, please don't drop it to keep Dream On...
Wonder if Sad Song, DYWBAS and Wonderwall were played the same way the acoustic.
But its funny how Noel considers his acoustic gigs completly apart from the band gigs. Its not the first time he mentions "rare songs he never done before" and he just brings the acoustic set to the High Flying Birds

jaq515, was the livestream any good in terms of quality? I hope somebody recorded it. The live stream didn't work (unsurprisingly). Was 3 different periscope streams (so basically same as the listen up vid)

I don't understand that people are happy with him playing Wonderwall. 9 Oasis songs out of 19 is a shame. Maybe he shouldn't have left Oasis if he want to play so many Oasis songs. The Girl With X-Ray Eyes, The Dying Of The Light, Ballad Of The Mighty I, Do The Damage (Where the hell did that one go?), Revolution Song, Freaky Teeth, Broken Arrow, Record Machine, Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me, A Simple Game Of Genius and Alone On The Rope.

What kind of statement is that? He can play whatever he wants. He's written all of it. Otherwise I agree. I would love to see Alone On The Rope or Shout It Out Loud back, but we've seen the crowd's reaction last time. To me it doesn't matter what he plays, as long as it's something different. What about Lord Don't Slow Me Down? He tried that in the RAH in 2013 and it sounded great! I mean, if you want to play an Oasis song, choose a less obvious one. No Wonderwall, Talk Tonight, Whatever etc. Pick something like Falling Down, Waiting For The Rapture, LDSMD, etc.

Is it just me or Wonderwall sounds a bit different?
(not the greatest video, there's some bad singalong happening in the background)

The most tiring is not that he played 9 Oasis songs, it is that he always plays the SAME Oasis songs ! I'm pretty sure he played only 13 or 14 different Oasis songs regularly since 2011. Rotate a bit Noel, please !
