I genuinely feel sorry for anyone doesn't love Holy Mountain. The best post-Oasis song, bar NONE. I don't know how many posts you've written almost identical to this one. And it's not even... ok, I'm kind of liking it now. I'm sure your propaganda had something to do with it, and i will never forgive you.

No matter how many posts TheEscapist has made praising Holy Mountain it still isn't more than me! Nobody will ever be able to overtake the unfettered love I showed for it on the day it leaked!!!

For me, it's in Noel's top 5 solo tunes.

It came on shuffle on Spotify yesterday. It's absolutely fucking catchy and I can't sit still when I hear it.

Just heard "The man who built the moon" in the background of German "I'm a celebrity get me out of here". That was unexpected.

The more I listen to WBTM, the more I think it's NGHFB's finest work to date. No real clunkers on here and even Holy Mountain has grown on me.
Still think Liam wins this battle though.

I was listening to If We Shadows today. It made me realise that I think this is the lowest point in my appreciation of Noel's music since...ever.
After a few years you really want a wave of new music to add to the collection but WBTM is unlistenable to me.
Goddamn Noel.
I wish we could fast-forward two decades to when Noel is old and graceful and makes a beautiful acoustic album.
Please let this middle aged rocker phase die out soon.

Not bad but it's nowhere near songs like The Right Stuff. Anyone else think The Mexican sounds like it could be in WBTM? Because I've heard it now twice when playing some random playlist on shuffle and both times I thought it was some WBTM song...

To be honest I really, really dislike those little "dance moves" Noel is doing. Such a not-Noel Gallagher thing to do.

Noel should be playing The Dying of The Light instead of If I Had A Gun during live shows.

Noel should be playing The Dying of The Light instead of If I Had A Gun during live shows. I'd dump both. Much prefer Stranded On The Wrong Beach, You Know We Can't Go Back or Broken Arrow.

Disagree - Dying of The Light is the closest to an Oasis anthem we’ve had in yearssss

Disagree - Dying of The Light is the closest to an Oasis anthem we’ve had in yearssss For me personally, You Know We Can't Go Back is pure 90s Oasis. I like Dying of the Light but have some personal attachment to If I Had A Gun so I prefer that one.

Yeah love YKWCGB too but for faster songs Lock All The Doors would fit the bill for me as for classic Oasis tunes.

Pretty bummed EOTR hasn't made the setlist (instead of Dream On). Seeing Noel live for the first time since '12, I'd really hoped to hear The Masterplan as well. Oh well, we can't have it all can we.
