Somehow people forget about the lyrics to Some Might Say and fish in the sink and itching in the kitchen. Frankly his lyrics are fine now. I think his lyrics in the past were far better, some might say’s lyrics seem to just work. It’s not so much the words. It’s the feeling they create. He’s starting to sound forced Some Might Say's verse lyrics are brilliant and have deep meaning, but the chorus lyrics have no meaning at all, and while it works, I wish there was more substance to them to match the verses. Nevertheless, the tune beneath the lyrics and Liam's delivery make it one of the best Oasis songs. |

I find it humorous that Noel admits to reading reviews for As You Were, yet not that he sat and listened to it at the first chance he got.

Noel Gallagher performs a ritual which involves fellow musicians getting down on their knees whilst he places his hands on their shoulders and mutters some mantra before they can start the recording process.
I don’t think this has been mentioned enough.
It’s kinda, I dunno. If it was George Clinton doing this I’d find it easier to process. But I think Noel might’ve went half-Sheen on us.

I'm not really the one to say "Liam would be better than Noel on this one" because NGHFB imo never had a song that fit Liam's voice, except maybe a couple of songs on CY, but now, The Man Who Built The Moon is pratically BEGGING for a Liam vocal, while i think this song is awesome and i love it so very much, Liam's voice would make it basically the second D'You Know What I Mean.

I love the demo title for The Death Of You And Me, which is (People Who Would Be) The Death Of You And Me, yes it's fucking long, but it rhymes so well and sounds so good when you think about it.
