Every time I think about listening to HFB I can't face it. The songs are all good or great, it's just fucking Dave Sardy sucking the soul out of it. Just want to revise this post. The songs are all good or great except for Dream On, which is complete toss. |

Don't want to make a new thread for this, but apparently Noel just presented the award for best male album, which David Bowie won and which his son Duncan accepted, at the Brits.

Oh Lord! sounds like it's going to burst in to Love Like A Bomb at the start. I quite like the sound of it but it sounds pretty unfinished to me, doesn't really go any where does it? I really like the solo in the middle though, very catchy.

She Must Be One of Us is OK, definitely better than a couple of his b-sides. !!Oh Lord!! is completely fucking worthless and I have no idea why he even spent a few hours recording it.

She Must Be One of Us is a funny song, which Noel lacks in his solo career so I really hope he releases something like that in the future.
And I kind of get why you don't like Oh Lord, but I like it a lot, maybe it's because I don't pay much attention to the lyrics and the sound reminds me of The Decemberists
